there's no way there won't be consequences for what's happened and we need to start dealing with that sooner rather than later, this update was framed very much like a turning point and it wasnt a turn in a good direction for us
The intent is not to keep them in the dark. It is simply to be more tactful with how we present the information. Lack of tact is what led us to this point, so we shouldn't go screaming and sobbing over a letter in the heat of the moment. Everyone will scramble to be heard over one another and more confusion will result. We are not cooperating, because we lack a unifying goal to strive towards and are thus mired in bickering.
When the time comes to inform them fully of the situation, we must do so precisely and with utmost care.
Indeed, I would suggest that we do not send any communique until there is a unanimous decision on its contents.
There is a reason I asked for input on my proposed Frog-Law Tenets. While I may have argued for them and presented my reasoning to those who disagreed, I did not make any repeat attempts to force it when it was ultimately decided against.
That said, does anyone disagree with what Wheat suggested we tell Fernando? Their initial post seems to have a great deal of support.
