> Get their attention, position yourself in front of their ship, tap the side of your head with your tail (specifically where ears usually are), bring your tail downwards, before gripping an imaginary something (like a headset mic), and bringing it to you mouth. Then mime talking and receiving on a headset for a bit before looking at them and tilting your head questioningly. Hopefully they'll get the question of "can you radio?" ([Charisma Check])
