Lovestruck: The Visual Novel Adventure

The universe picks up a coin. Leon is assigned to tails, while Shirley is assigned to heads.

The coin lands.

[Heads.]

You decide to go over and talk to Shirley. More friends the merrier, you guess. Plus, if Pio is Leon's friend, you might see them on your way!

You walk up to Shirley. Immideatly, she tucks in her phone and looks at you questioningly. You absently note she wasn’t wearing her eyepatch.



And under that eyepatch was....



A completely normal eye.

”Do you need something?” She asks.

You shake your head and try not to look dumbfounded. ”I... just wanted to ask if you would walk to me to class.“

Shirley laughs. “What? Are you serious?”

“Er. Yes?“

She raises her eyebrows. ”Oh. Alright then. Which class are you going to?“

“Theatere.“

“Funny! That’s my next class as well. I might as well.”

Shirley picks up her things and gestures to the hallway.



Both of you walk in silence for a while, before Shirley speaks up.

“I’ll be honest, do you really need something? Like an answer to a question, or?”

“Well,” you shrug. “I’m only a little curious what gods you know.“

She snorts. You notice her shoulders have sagged a little. “I don’t believe in them too much, like a lot of people here. I just think they‘re there.“

“Do you know any, though?“

Shirley ponders for a moment. “I usually give some offerings to the god of Lost and Found. I like to think it helps with requests sometimes.”

“You take requests?“

She seems surprised. “You.. really didn’t know? I usually get things for people they can’t in Lunetta or via shipping. Knowledge, and other things.“

”So you‘re an knowledge breaker.“




“Something like that. Don’t frown upon it! It’s not illegal. Plus, I can get you regularstuff faster than Feta.”

You tilt your head. “How can you get something faster than a shipping company..?

She grins. “I just steal it from their shipments.“

You eye her carefully.

“Just kidding!” Shirley adds quickly. Then she pauses. “I’m surprised you’re trying to talk to me after I told you to go away.“

“I was interrupting a private conversation..”

“You were!“



After a moment she adds in a low voice, “Don’t talk about it again.“

[Shirley has passed the charisma check.]

You nod quickly. You know when not to involve yourself.

Up ahead, you can see the theatere door. You can also see Leon about to leave, if you want to talk to them. Additionally, you can ask a final question before class starts.

‘Q: How do I gain stat points?
You can gain stat points by completing tasks for yourself or other students. However, a task assigned by yourself is not garunteed to give stat points! The diffculty and effort of the task will decide that. The same goes for tasks given by other students, however, it is up to the student to decide the reward. This means a task to get an item could reward more stat points than a difficult task if they are willing to do so.

You can also naturally gain stat points by doing actions related to that stat. As a bonus, you will learn knowledge or a skill. Learning this means that you will always sucssesfully complete any action related to it. There are always some exceptions, like sword fighting. You will not automatically win battles via swordfighting, but you cannot do the act incorrectly anywhere else. Similarly, it can be limited. If you learn “basic knowledge of [subject]”, you can only automatically succeed with actions that will only use basic knowledge of that subject. If the subject was magic, you could cast simple spells, but not a complicated one.

How do I find tasks?
You can manually assign yourself a task to yourself, or the system might assign you one. Student tasks must be found by asking any student if they want you do to something for them. However, it is better to ask people you're aquainted with rather than people you’ve never met, as they will be more likley to turn you down.

Why does my charm fail even when the other student has a lower charisma stat?
Usually, you can only charm people whom you overpower both in charisma and intelligence, as charming with someone with high intelligence will fail as they can see your intentions. If you have equal intelligence or your total of CHR and INT stat combined is higher than their intelligence, then you have a chance of charming them. Raising either stat higher at that point will make you succeed at charming them.

Rolls have been remained hidden to prevent using too much space. If you would like to see the rolls, say “toggle visible rolls”. They will be where they are relevant. Currently, rolls are visible.

Both forms are used to submit a god or an area of your choice in game! Generally, you don't have to be specific nor use a form if you are suggesting a general idea in a command, but more complex ideas will require a form. They may be seen below.

Note that it may be a while before you even see your god in the story!
