Anyways, give it a good smack upside the noggin.
Or whatever happens with ATTACK.

Perhaps drinking a soothing cup of Boiled Leaf Juice. Statistics show that Non Combatants enjoy up to an ∞% increase in longevity!

"3.5/5? I can live with that."
"I thought I looked pretty cool, myself."

Aubrey points at the Action Figure.
AUBREY
"Ada! Use Tackle!"
--- BATTLE LOG ---
(Rolling in the background...)
Ada treats the Action Figure to a FLYING TACKLE, speeding forward with an audible 'nyoom'.
AUBREY
"Are... are you saying 'nyoom'?"
"Oh my god, that's adorable."
The Action Figure raises an arm to defend itself, with minimal success. The automatons collide. Screen tearing, the T0-AF stumbles back a few steps while Ada zips away.
**[T0-AF] took 2 Damage!!**
The [T0-AF] cannot retaliate. The [T0-AF] rights itself and skips its turn.

TUTORIAL
As you can see, the Adaptive Combat Bracelet wasn't built for physical attacks.
This deficiency may come in handy when you only want to weaken your opponent.
Let's try a SPECIAL next. Right now, the Adaptive Combat Bracelet is in RANGED mode.
Depending on the situation, you might want to switch her to MELEE or GUARD mode.
RANGED will do for now, however.

AUBREY
"Ada! Kill it with Fire!"
---BATTLE LOG---
(Rolling in the background...)
Ada makes an enthusiastic chiming sound. Through your link with Aubrey's consciousness, you hear... music forthcoming. Seems she enjoys this immensely.
Ada used FIREBOLT! The [T0-AF] lights up like a pyre!
**Ada lost 1 SP!!**
**[T0-AF] took 6 Damage!**
**[T0-AF] is BURNing!!**
The [T0-AF] still cannot retaliate, and is presently on fire.
**[T0-AF] took 1 Burn Damage!!**

TUTORIAL
When used against enemies with low elemental defense,
Ada's SPECIAL techniques stand a chance of inflicting a status effect.
BURN inflicts continuous damage on the target.
STUN may cause the target to harm itself, its allies, or misfire.
FREEZE renders the target immobile for a number of turns.
Status effects do not stack.

Battle Menu Wrote:ATTACK: Ada's default attack, a standard flying tackle.
GUARD: Defends for one turn, allowing for non-combat actions (such as conversation) to ensue.
SPECIAL: Access Ada's elemental magics. These cost 1 SP per use.
AUTO: Leave Ada to her own devices. Combat will resolve on its own with an unpredictable outcome.
