it appears the map was being displayed on some kind of touch-screen computer, possibly filled with delightful secrets and intriguing puzzles. your piss immediately shorts out the computer and breaks it and makes it explode.

you note that what you assume is due east [based on the now broken map] leads to a sheer drop off. it may be unwise to blindly leap - but then again, maybe not.
