You bite your lip. You suppouse that could’ve gone better.

“Sorry,” you say. “I guess you‘re right.”

In an effort to change the subject, you add “What club is your friend in?”

Leon seems glad for the question. ”School theatere club, I’m pretty sure. If you want to join, I think they’re accepting auditions.”

Your eyebrows perk up. ”Does he have theatere as an elective? I might end up meeting him.“

“Oh, he does! That’s a thing.” Leon seems to be searching in their pockets. ”If you see them, can you do me a favor?”

“What is it?”

“Just give this to him.” They show you the book they were holding, along with a neatly folded sheet of paper. “His friend wants to borrow it.”

“What’s that book about? It seems rather thick.”

“It’s...” Leon pauses. “Some novel, yes.”

You wonder why they paused. “What about the paper?”

They shrug. “Just a quick message, for my friend.”

“...What does your friend look like, anyway? I doubt I'd be able to find him by askimg everyone I see.”

They hum for a moment. ”They're usually wearing a light grey hooding with a sash. Just yell 'Pio', and you'll find them.“

Will you accept the task?

You can gain stat points by completing tasks for yourself or other students. However, a task assigned by yourself is not garunteed to give stat points! The diffculty and effort of the task will decide that. The same goes for tasks given by other students, however, it is up to the student to decide the reward. This means a task to get an item could reward more stat points than a difficult task if they are willing to do so.

You can also naturally gain stat points by doing actions related to that stat. As a bonus, you will learn knowledge or a skill. Learning this means that you will always sucssesfully complete any action related to it. There are always some exceptions, like sword fighting. You will not automatically win battles via swordfighting, but you cannot do the act incorrectly anywhere else. Similarly, it can be limited. If you learn “basic knowledge of [subject]”, you can only automatically succeed with actions that will only use basic knowledge of that subject. If the subject was magic, you could cast simpe spells, but not a complicated one.

How do I find tasks?
You can manually assign yourself a task to yourself, or the system might assign you one. Student tasks must be found by asking any student if they want you do to something for them. However, it is better to ask people you're aquainted with rather than people you’ve never met, as they will be more likley to turn you down.

Why does my charm fail even when the other student has a lower charisma stat?
Usually, you can only charm people whom you overpower both in charisma and intelligence, as charming with someone with high intelligence will fail as they can see your intentions. If you have equal intelligence or your total of CHR and INT stat combined is higher than their intelligence, then you have a chance of charming them. Raising either stat higher at that point will make you succeed at charming them.

How come I don’t see any rolls?Show

How come I don't see any rolls?
Rolls have been remained hidden to prevent using too much space. If you would like to see the rolls, say “toggle visible rolls”. They will be placed in a box before every post.
