Jack stands and dusts off her skirt. Leon hears her and looks at her curiously.
“Are you late for a class?” They ask. “I thought you wouldn’t be, seeing as you came with me.”
Jack doesn’t answer them and murmurs a small prayer. Leon frowns.
“Hey, at least say what’s on your mind-”
“Lux, accept this blood as a sacrifice to you.”
Jack throws a punch.
[Jack’s strength is weaker than Leon’s. Her punch barely leaves a mark.]
“What the hell was that?” Leon frowns.
Jack doesn’t answer. Her face seems expressionless.
Battle engaged.
[Leon leaves your party.]
The game rolls for initative.
Leon rolls 13. Jack rolls 4.
Leon uses throw. Jack fails to dodge and takes 40 damage. Jack now has 60 health.
In the distance, Lux hears Jack's prayers.
Jack gains blessing of the sun god. +10 to all stats. Her health has been replenished.
Jack uses Illusion. Her attack fails.
Leon attacks! Jack manages to block in time. They clash.
Jack uses a magical attack. Leon manages to block it.
Leon attacks! Jack is unable to block her attack. She takes 100 damage.
Jack Aiden has been slain.
Leon looks at her dead body in suprise and fear.
Bad End.
You then dismiss the idea. You're friends now! You don't do that to a new friend.
You decide to ask her about the garden, and decide not to milk your charm stat for now.
“How'd you find this place?“
Leon shrugs. “Oh, you know. I have my ways.“ They do a little wave with their hands and stick out their tounge. “In all honesty, I found it because of my friend.”
You hum in response. “Your friend must be good at gardening, then.”
They snort. “Oh, they wish they were. I do all the work for them. He's pretty busy with all his club stuff. He’s really passionate about it, y’know?”
You nod. Leon talks on without your prompting.
“He’s.. well, I doubt you've heard of him. He might be like a social butterfly, but he doesn’t make a name for himself. He’s smart enough, though.“
“He seems like a good friend.”
They smile fondly. “He is.“
Leon seems to murmur something before shaking their head. They close their eyes again and lean back.
It’s 9:30 AM. Is there anything else you want to talk about?
