I mean at this point shouldn't we consider this a total debasement?
boooooo!
>grey, does this LOOK like a basement anymore
Of course it doesn't, but it still has the properties of the basement you had programmed.
The monitors were still down here. The room initially containing the shadows was still down here. You were able to teleport there, even!
You have to believe that there is stability amongst the chaos. You have to stay in control.
You have to keep looking.
>Grey: Could it have moved? This place has been getting more unstable after all
That's...a possibility, but you'd like to explore every option down here before you go on a wild goose chase.
"Hey! Are you listening to me?"
Even though things appear to be collapsing, the worst damage is still in the main hospital areas. Until something like, say, the individual subjects' rooms combining all into one happens, you have to assure yourself you still have a shot.
"What happens if we never find it, huh? Are we trapped here forever?"
And--
>Sam: Want answers, dammit
"Hello?! Am I talking to a brick wall??"
"It's here."
"Excuse me?"
"The control switch."
"Uh..."
"It's in here"
"I can feel it"
