You wrap your arms around one of the pine trees and tear it from the cold earth. You do this three more times until you have four trees lined up on the riverbank. You walk around the perimeter of each, tearing off branches and roots until they are mostly log shaped. With some clever engineering, you create some "ropes" out of branches tied together into knots.

Once your raft is assembled, you kick it halfway into the river. It looks pretty rough, and you can already see parts of it are falling apart.
