<<Next day hangover syndrome: Happen.>>
A hangover isn't all too likely, since you only had the one ale, and perhaps more importantly,
you drank reasonably responsibly.

Having scaffolded up the previous day, rest allows you to distribute your 2 free First Tier
Power Points. You may allocate them as you please.
Tutorial: Every time a Player Character scaffolds up, they receive 2 free First Tier Power
Points to spend immediately, and 8 more to potentially gain through training. There are also
more Feats and Spells to allocate Power Points to than just the recommended choices presented.
<<Aiden: Add 2 to willpower.>>
You allocate both points to Willpower.

Now it's Daren's turn.

Time to allocate 2 Power Points for Daren.
<<Daren: Add 1 to Strength and add 1 to Vitality>>
You allocate 1 point to Strength and 1 point to Vitality.

<<Unseen narrator: Explain why bigger countries have not absorbed smaller countries.>>
These smaller nations, colloquially known as the Independent Kingdoms, have yet to be
annexed for any number of reasons. Some are declared neutral territory, some are contested
territory, some are undesirable targets, some have formed alliances or treaties, and others
yet have their own standing armies or mercenary support.
<<What is this Mesmyrdia Conflict?>>
The current conflict is being fought over pride and religious creed, following the Sinking of
Mesmyr, capital city of the Mesmyrdian Empire at the hands of the Druidic Order five years ago,
and the subsequent collapse of the empire that followed soon after. The war began sweeping
through Astarpa thirty-five years ago, when the mutual intolerance of the opposing sects
of Munostianity erupted into a series of insurrections and inquisitions throughout the empires.
That was until Mesmyrdia enacted laws breaking tenants of Druidic tradition. Within a month,
the tip of the tallest tower in Mesmyr was dozens of fathoms below sea level. In the five years
since, the former empire's provinces have risen up as independent kingdoms and those that haven't
either declared fealty to another of the empires or were annexed. Mercenary warbands roam in the
wake of the clashing forces, scavenging anything the locals manage to hide from the imperial armies
like scraps of carrion.

I mean, why isn't the Druid order also more powerful than normal if it's a conclave of nature magic users unless other people have other magic.... right?
