If a user finds a particular thread offensive or lacking value, they may declare the thread by linking to it in the official garbo thread. Any thread declared three or more times will have the flair appended to its thread title.

Users can negate a garbo declaration by stating so in the garbo thread or they may forcibly remove a garbo declaration via the results of a drag race against the user who declared garbo.
