You try to do this, but it seems you can't convert apples into fame. You then try to go directly from apples to pocket lint, but it also fails!

I guess apples aren't a valid currency..?

This suprises ZOK more than it hurts him, but he almost seems pleased to be punished. In fact, it hurts Klingle-klangle more than ZOK- the bells ring as they bruise the pair.

Klingle-klangle and Dana both take an apple and begin to eat. ZOK declines and Sam makes some snarky comment about eating physical matter to be for lower beings.

Jeremie clicks loudly, and Sam takes it back.

Allas even with some level difference and world experience, roof kraken still a kraken and a goblin still just a goblin.

Still would e a shame to waste a perfectly good goblin soul with no payoff
... On the other hand failure and poor performances must be punished....

After a chow session, your advertising pays off. Jina is thrown into the main room, bleeding and terrified. Behind her enter four armed ruffians, a cloaked figure and a bigger, tougher ruffian (also armed).

"So, this is the place?" says the bigger ruffian.

"Yes boss, this is where they were." says one of the smaller fry.

"Looks easy." The big ruffian eyes the three chests. "This will be a cash-in today. You might even pay off your debt."

He directs this at the hooded figure, who looks down nervously.

Three of the smaller ruffians charge forward, one hangs back with the cloaked figure, who has begun to chant. Boss ruffian slowly advances, using the smaller grunts as meat-shields.

The ruffians seem wary of above.
