SpoilerMom: "____, what are you complaining about?"

Me: "I'm complaining about you complaining about me going to my university so much. You say I don't do my homework when I go out so much. Well if I stay at my house, do my assignments and have no internet 7 days a week, I will go insane."

Mom: "Oh, so you aren't already insane?"

I cuss at her.

Dad: "How dare you! Show more respect to her and maybe she won't say that to you!"

In an alternate universe where I don't answer her initial question at all:

Mom: "____, what are you complaining about?"

Me: "..."

Mom: "Answer me!"

Dad: "Show respect to your mother!"

Why the fuck should I show respect to my parents if I'm treated this way no matter what.
