I mean yeah let's immediately try to murder this guy we just met and know nothing about, although I have a feeling I know what's going to happen if we try to fight him.

I mean, he wanted the Cupid to get him a body, so we know he has some reason to kill people. Also based on his garb we can assume he has some strong connection to Eris or an Eris affiliated group, neither of which is really a good thing for us.
