You contemplate digging out spacelag medicine from your backpack, or taking photos of your phenomenal transportation, when you are distracted by a few yellow... brich... drones scuttling in the grass. Huh. You decide to follow them, hoping you don't have to use your sole defense of Granny's Net Launcher.



Peeking around the corner, you see a few folks in uniform discussing something.

"As you see, these drones are capable of making a quick survey of the ruins, so our researchers could explore the areas more safely, and extract the artifacts."

"So we went out in the middle of nowhere to test a few boxes painted yellow. Fascinating."

"Well, they are cheap, Number Three Sir, and would allow our researchers to enter the ruins more safely."

"That would not be needed, because--oh, didn't you know? Treasure retrieval will be reassigned from R&D to volunteer prisoners soon. And we don't want to give precise detectors to criminals, do we?"

"That is... I... did the Wardess really approve it?"

"Ah, Old Mom Seth doesn't know about this suggestion yet; however-"



"Oh. You there, in the ruins! Looks like we had a stowaway. Which your drones didn't detect, Captain Coralus? Maybe that is why they are cheap?"

"Fascinating! The ruins CAN bring people along! The theory HAS been PROVEN! AGAIN!"

"While, yes, yes, um, researcher person. Hello, who might you be? Not from the city, eh?"
