In the same vein as Boatmurdered, whereby the rules are one year per leader, I propose that we document the successive growth of a Dwarf Fortress.
Rules are pretty much the same as Boatmurdered's.
Once the save file has been made available to you, you have a week to take your turn.
Your turn lasts up to one game year. When you see the green text that says it's spring, you've got to call it quits and end your turn.
If you start but don't finish within a week, the next player can pick up where you left off, then play their own turn as well.
When your turn is over, save the game, zip it, and upload it to your favorite filesharing site (or here).
If you haven't played Dwarf Fortress before, or if you've never gotten the hang of it, you may want to make liberal use of the wiki. I also recommend actually reading Boatmurdered.
Are you dwarf enough?
Player List
1. Thriggle
2. Jacquerel
3. SleepingOrange
4. [You?]
...
If you haven't played Dwarf Fortress before, you might be offput by its archaic graphics, which look something like this:
But don't be fooled by the superficial simplicity of its graphics. The game takes very minute details into consideration at all times. Perhaps that will become apparent as the game goes on...
