This issue can be solved by simply hacking of it's legs and possibly head once we're done (Although that may be hard with Cea's low strength). I can't imagine it'd be easy to get around without any legs.

The legs could wriggle around and attach to anything metal you can reach from the floor. We'd better burn hasty's body.
