Cea should be in the control room since he's the fastest and could act as an alarm.

More importantly, Cea should be in the control room because Sonny will warn him in case of trouble, and so we could lock the doors or turn on the sprinklers if need be.

I suppose Nikki should be in the Kitchen since it's a 1 person room and thus him being there waste no space and doesn't cost us anything important.

Moreover, Notails can eat rotten food so Nikki could help himself to the larder. Although we would put him at risk by putting him in a room without a door.

My suggested layout:

Nova, Nicko
Nicko is a space ripper and therefore doesn't need to fear burning to death. We would have to fear the guy if he's infected by clockwork so he's best left away from the infection.

Room 2
Nikki, for reasons already mentioned.

Room 3
One punch, Bob
The people in this room need to be ready for a clockwork threat. Neither One punch nor Bob sleeps, and if kicked out neither is picky.

Room 4
Hasty, Blu
Something could easily sneak into this room via the busted vents, so it shouldn't be for sleeping people.

Room 5
Cea, Cobalt, Shetlock, Andrus
This room needs high speed members to warn others if need be. Andrus was put in as an afterthought.

Room 6
Cleo, Marble, Citrine
Cleo can't really do much, so her room should be defendable. This room locks, Marble is a strong fighter and so is Citrine. Probably. No-one has to leave if Oooo goes in here.

Room 7
Phlodur
Has a spot open for Blu, Hasty or Oooo.

Alt where Nikki gets room 6 and we rely on safety in numbers in the control room.

We can just take the guns out and pass them to Marble and One Punch.

Blu and Hasty don't sleep and they can hopefully wake Citrine if something happens.

Cea, Cobalt, Cleo, Marble, Nicko, Shetlock, One Punch, Bob
Our crew, save for Nikki and whoever else we can fit in there.

Room 6
Nikki
A room with a door is safer.

Room 7
Phlodur, Andrus
Who cares about these guys' safetly, anyhow? They can just hide in a box or something. If Oooo kicks either of them out they'll end up in room 1-3, which aren't safe rooms for them.
