RE: Post making contest

Hey my good friends I'm here to save us from Belushi Hell by delivering you all into Pirates Hell. You might recognize this ruleset as the Beta ruleset from my recent One Piece ruleset. I'm relabelling the rules from letters to the numbers 1-5 so as to be consistent but I promise they aren't altered or rearranged in any way. Anything that passed for example rule C passes rule 3 etc. Every single rule from this ruleset was based on one of the Strawhats and just so we're clear the Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji rules have been identified and passed. These rules are based on the remaining members. A little knowledge/research into One Piece would be helpful to figuring out these rules but none these rules requires One Piece knowledge to pass... if that makes sense. (i.e. none of these rules are like 'must quote an iconic one piece line/impersonate a member of the strawhats/etc'). With all that preamble done lets judge some posts.

Passes no rules. (I think this is the closest you are to passing the previous rule 5 (lets refer to it as JB5) but it's been a while since that conversation happened and I didn't write the exact specifications of the rules down.)

The orange necrophages munched their way through two thirds of the pangea, the lime green people spent the entire game sulking in their corner and I did a science. I still have absolutely no idea what I'm doing but I did at least have fun? There was a period in the middle where the game devolved into "City Production Queue Management Simulator 2016" and then the war happened. It was interesting. I do not understand combat in this game and neither do the (admittedly easiest level) AI. A battle the initial screen reckoned was 60-40 in my favour was a complete bloodbath when I did it manually (as in both my opponent and I only had one unit left at the end) and then, out of curiosity, I loaded the autosave and auto'ed it instead - only two of my militia died and the entirety of the enemy army bit the dust.
part of the problem is that I do not know how to heal units yet
There's one area in which I can already see that Endless Legend is massively superior to Civ - the loading times. Like, bloody hell, I can boot up and load a saved game in EL in a tad over a minute, whereas Civ won't have even got to the title screen by then... this may or may not be my laptop at fault, but sheesh...
End of message.
This post passes rule 2. Also, referring to these rules as 1-5 instead of A-E is throwing me more than I was anticipating.

I was going to do another "Sruix listens to some absurdist semi-music" liveblog for the Other People Network but it's been several hours now and I've barely scratched the surface of this bizarre colossus. I don't know how to describe it. It's almost everything I would ever want from a complex musical artform. It might actually have everything I'd want, mind - I've only got through twenty channels or so. They've all been perfect. Nothing is going to top Vito's Room any time soon and I'm lucky I stumbled across it early but oh my goodness. Just try it out. I haven't come across any naked body sounds yet so you're probably safe.

YOU CAN PLAY THE ORIGINAL ROLLERCOASTER TYCOON SCENARIOS IN OPENRCT2 NOW
AS IN, WITH THE FIVE-AT-A-TIME UNLOCK PROGRESSION AND CORRECT RESEARCH QUEUES AND BEING ABLE TO CHARGE FOR BOTH PARK AND RIDE ENTRY (and they're working on getting the terrain textures from the expansions in along with other little details like the flat-to-steep slopes on the Junior Coaster) BUT THIS IS JUST SO INCREDIBLY COOL? LIKE HOW LONG DID THIS TAKE THESE PEOPLE?!
TODAY HAS BEEN A REALLY GOOD DAY FOR REALLY GOOD THINGS!
...I really need to get myself a proper outlet...
