You open the DOOR and enter the next room out.
For clarity's sake, the innermost room will be referred to as "ROOM 1", this room is "ROOM 2", the room beyond it is "ROOM 3", and so on. Also for clarity's sake, we will call the side you have just entered the "NORTH" side and name the other sides according to the usual way of indicating cardinal directions; these directions will persist for future rooms.

In the NORTH side of ROOM 2, you find a blank wall opposite you, the same glass ceiling as ever, and about halfway between the DOOR you just entered and the opposite wall, a BLACK TABLE with a BLUE BALANCING SCALE on it.

Use your furniture to build a makeshift smaller room in the middle of this room, get inside and lock the door.

You head back to ROOM 1 first.
You can manage the seat cushions of the COUCH, the back of the COUCH, and its armrests into something resembling 4 walls, but you have no GLASS to make a CEILING out of and you have absolutely no way to make a DOOR, much less to lock one. So you abandon the idea for now, and put the COUCH back together.
