Emily: Emily, do not fear. This entity is an asset to Lucas. For he has pacified him to Lucas and his friends. I am more worried for his safety than yours to be honest; no offence. Now with Daydream keeping an eye on you and what not. It will be for the best to keep him around

Emily: Okay, so I finally remembered all of the things that happened before and during this... Thing Daydream created.
Lucas: ....
Lucas: Damn.
Lucas: I tried not to trigger anything.
Emily: I already talked to Daydream about it.
Lucas: ...??
Lucas: How?
Emily: I met her in this white place, that's how I was able to learn about her alias.
Lucas: She didn't tell me about this.
Emily: She hasn't told you a lot of things...
Emily: You know you were being used, right? Alice doesn't plan on taking you seriously.
Lucas: ....
Lucas: If I try hard enough, she'll accept me.
Emily: ......
Lucas: I know it.
Lucas: If not then... I'm sure we could just be friends.
Lucas: I guess...
Emily: ......
Lucas: I often got jealous of Derrick, because of how Alice treated him.
Lucas: Even Daydream, sometimes bends things in his favour now and again.
Lucas: I get really angry when he just blows off her affection as "sibling love" when it's obviously a cover.
Lucas: He doesn't appreciate what she does for him.
Emily: How do you know?
Lucas: Because! If he did he'd show it more.
Lucas: But instead he just acts like he can't love anybody.
Lucas: I know Lucia has a thing for him.
Lucas: Though I haven't met her yet in this iteration.
Lucas: To mistreat two girls like that with his insensitive actions is...
Lucas: Horrible...
Lucas: If I wasn't trying to get on Alice's good side I would have smacked him.
Lucas: I'm really passionate when it comes to people I like.
Lucas: And I can't stand to see them ignored.
Emily: You know, you could always tell him how you feel.
Lucas: He won't listen to me. He never did.
Lucas: If he took one thing I said seriously, this place would have been deconstructed a long time ago.
Emily: What would you like him to do about it?
Lucas: Call Alice out on whatever it is she's doing.
Lucas: It's like they're both playing footsies but Derrick is flat out denying it.
Lucas: I'm no different I guess.
Lucas: I feel like a side character to this.
Lucas: I watch from afar, and help Alice whenever she asks, but...
Lucas: I'm always given cold words, like I'm a grunt or co-worker or something.
Lucas: I guess somewhere throughout all this crazy world building, I began faking how I felt about people.
Lucas: And just playing somebody that would fit into the group.
Lucas: There hasn't been anyone so far to question it yet...
Lucas: I guess except for you.
Emily: But that's because I know the real Lucas!
Emily: Lucia and Derrick are still unaware of what happened to them.
Emily: Which is good, for now...
Emily: But when things become more serious, I want to make sure we're all still tight-knit friends. And nothing can come in between us.
Emily: As it stands you've been the one trailing in the back.
Lucas: It's not healthy to get attached to everyone here.
Lucas: It's been.... thousands of cycles...
Lucas: I've seen people die, I've killed people too...
Lucas: At first it's messed up, but it's just something I do now.
Lucas: I don't see it as wrong, but a necessity.
Lucas: Like eating or breathing.
Lucas: We can't get out anyways, so I might as well fall in line.
Emily: Do you like being treated like this??
Lucas: .....
Lucas: It doesn't matter.
Lucas: I just hope I get recognition by the end at least.
Lucas: Helping save everyone.
Lucas: Or rather, just Derrick.
Emily: And if you don't?
Lucas: ... Alice isn't ungrateful.
Lucas: Something this big has to earn good graces in her eyes.
Emily: That isn't guaranteed though.
Emily: If she blows you off again, after this long and all you've been through.
Emily: Could you handle it?

Lucas: I'd be heart broken I guess.
Lucas: I can't see myself with anyone else.
Lucas: And I've never had a stronger passion or something I was so driven towards.
