Rule 1- Creativity: Must name a fictional thing (person, creature, object), then describe it.
"The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame," named a fictional creature called the Jabberwork, and described it as having eyes of flame. Alternatively something like "Bruce the Gorrila loved space oranges" would have worked just as well.
Rule 2- Two-Faced: Must include two sets of text, one text color must be the other's background color, and vice-versa.
Rule 3- Matrix: One must be able to see the (bb)code.
Rule 4- Give Up: Must link to or have embedded within it Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up"
Rule 5- Balderdash: Must have a number of common words (which must include letters, not be part of any code, and not be a name) that cannot be found in Webster's Dictionary (made-up words) equal to the last two digits of the post number.
I thought this was a brilliant idea until, early in, I realized that you'd probably only stumble on this every 100 posts, with the last digits 00, 01, and 02. I should have made it the last digit only, so every TEN posts you'd stumble on it, and actually have to figure things out. It turned out to be a moot point, anyways, because soon after you figured out Rule 2, it was another start of 100 posts and you were able to get it by not including ANY made-up words, other than Jabberwock which is a name (see the capital J) and thus does not count. It could have been really good though, oh well.
I think this went... okay? Maybe? At least it was for my first time ever making a ruleset. If I ever make another one, I'll put a lot more thought into how people are actually going to figure out the rules.
