Right now here's what I'm thinking.

1: Throw the blanket over him disorient or blind him
2: Then have Derrick exit through the door behind him, or try and get past "SS" (for lack of a better name) and get closer to backup.
3: Use the running to either talk him down, or take advantage of Derrick's rifle and turn it into a running fight, with Bambino and Reggie acting as ambushers.

Option 3 then splits into 2 forks.

We could either take the running fight to the door trap and take care of him that way, or we can head for Derrick's room for safety, and make it into the forts.

What are your thoughts?

1: "You just went into my house looking for somebody to kill so you could take over their life! From the way you're acting now, this land certainly isn't too cruel for you!"

2: "Woah buddy! This isn't the only way you can get out of here, or even the only way you can be safe!" this one is entirely true, Emily can get him to pass on to "heaven" (for lack of more concrete knowledge), we can let him into the forts, have him buddy up with the reapers for safety/company, etc...

3: When Derrick gets backup, or if this goes into a running fight "Do you really want to continue this? You might have had a chance when I was alone, but now I've got backup and a home field advantage! If you stop now then we can help you, but if you continue this pointless I will be forced to destroy you."

4: "Can we talk for a bit, instead of just fighting?"

Preferably once there's a moment where SS can't immediately kill Derrick as a response.
