Speaking of Daydream, what if Daydream is the OI, and the in construct Alice is the real Alice? It could just be toying with us, gathering information by pretending to be friendly. A little unlikely, I know, but a thought nonetheless.

I've been playing around with a sort of similar theory. Basically, what if Alice was actually possessed at a young age by a monster, and having lost her body she became the poster monster/unknown entity? That would mean the Alice/Daydream we know is actually not native to that body. It seems pretty outlandish, but there's a few things that actually would make sense this way:

• We never see Raziel being conjured. Maybe this is because the "original" Alice conjured him, and he then defaulted to the new owner of his body?
  
• Alice's infatuation with Derrick could have something to do with being a monster for eons. He would probably be her first friend, her first normal human she's talked to in countless years.
  
• The bit in Alice's intro about not being who she claims to be would make sense, although the rest of the cryptic prose is still totally puzzling.
  
• Lucas would be in love with a monster who possessed a girl, which strikes me as kinda fitting given his "erroneousExorcist" chumhandle.
  
• Alice making Garry fall asleep outside of a dream (although in the construct) when she shouldn't even know she's not in the real world. Maybe monsters possessing people have powers? We've heard about possession all story, but since iP says we hypothetically can prevent the kids from suffering that fate, it makes me wonder if there is some guaranteed way in which we'll see what possession does.
  
• The fact that Alice seems to do a lot of non-genuine things to seem "normal" like filling her room with bright cheery stuff might have to do with not being a normal human.
  

I don't really believe this is likely at all, but it's fun to theorize! Alice is such a fun character because of how confusing everything about her is. Like seriously, I think we've so far had 4 at least somewhat different Alice's confirmed to be roaming around? (Construct Alice, Sentinel Alice, Daydream, Poster Monster)

Gotta say, that went really smoothly! I guess when you have causality on your side things just tend to work out. Based Lunatic Uilos really delivered with those souls! This new ability sounds incredibly useful for if we run into friendlier monsters.

So does Emily always dream in this anachronistic manner, or is this only in the construct? It kind of makes sense that she gets captured a lot if this is her modus operandi, since she could easily get into a sticky situation.

Although this theory would explain alice's strangeness attribute very well, it's probably not the case, the kids only start dreaming at a certain age (Lucia when she was shot and Derrick sometime after) at the point where Lucia and Derrick first meet on the dream world, Alice is not supposed to be dreaming yet, since Alice wasn't dreaming it's impossible that she was possesed before entering the dream world the first time. as stated by Pechal on this page, Alice wasn't supposed to be dreaming yet.

Pechal: Stuff like, she's been walking around, being seen in Lomam.
Pechal: But, she shouldn't be! because she never woke up.

as for Daydream, I don't think she was possesed either, if she were she wouldn't know who Derrick and the other kids are, and besides, a kid's conjuration dissapears when they get possesed, the possesor doesn't steal their conjurations, only their body, and I don't think they enter the dreamworld.
