Sam Houston was the first president of Texas. He came here because a rival senator was verbally bashing him, so he physically bashed the senator. A federal judge was all like "Sam...Sam you can't do stuff like that." And Sam was all "FUCK YOU. I'm gonna go to Texas and become PRESIDENT!" And he did.
