RE: Post making contest

The rules were:
1: Must be three sentences, no more no less.
2: IMMA TALK ABOUT THIS ONE SO SKIP FOR A SECOND
3: Everything in the post must be contained within sentences that start with the word "I" (In this case, the absence of content is still considered part of the post)
4: Post cannot contain any punctuation marks that are not periods.
5: Must have at least two sentences with the same word count.
Now 2 was:
Must contain at least one word or phrase from each of the three basic tenses, in order.
(By in order I meant Past then Present then Future. You can have multiples of each without breaking this rule, as long as past comes first and future comes last)
The PROBLEM with my initial post is that "I have thought" is Present Perfect and I knew that, but I typed as if I were talking and so I forgot to parse out the "have" because my brain didn't register it. This is why I was incredibly irate at myself, because it was very definitely wrong, but such a tiny screw-up.
As for the banning of that one post, its because the sudden interjection of non-sequiters that destroyed the flow of the sentence was incredibly mind-twisting. I tried to keep the definition of "Sentence" to "Thoughts, not necessarily coherent, that preceded a sentences stopping punctuation mark" but having to see "Once upon a time" just jump right into the sentence a half-a-dozen times kept throwing me off the mark and I wasn't even sure if I shouldn't define that as a different sentence.
This was a nightmare of a round, I'm so sorry.
