never mind ix - this thread might as well be called "the thread of regret and mistakes", 'cause i think everyone's cocked up their rules somehow. don't sweat it! for what it's worth, that rule 5 is clever in its simplicity and i had i had the time to just keep clipping your posts down until they failed i'd like to think i'd have got it? and i reckon rule 2 would have been fine once i switched to Roman numerals...
