The tissue in my pocket makes me nervous.

What if he thinks poorly of me because I'm carrying around trash?

Not quite thinking straight, I shove the tissue down my throat and swallow. Gross.

I freshen up, chewing on a piece of gum. It helps get the papery taste out of my mouth. A cold wind flies through my hair, and I wait awkwardly.
