I actually hadn't thought of that! I was mainly thinking that it was a good metaphor for something with a lot of potential!
But really, "the way" of The Write Stuff has traditionally been to leave behind a strata of enjoyable, albeit unfinished, text adventures in the forum's history. I'd argue that there's nothing wrong with setting something aside, because it means that you're getting to do better things in its place!
