I gotta say, I'm with wheat here; not only did you never come across as unpleasant, sparky, I actually remember you as one of the most consistently nice and friendly people from the old MSPA community. I feel like nicer people probably are more likely to think they come across as rude just because they have greater skill at identifying potential offense, which is part of why they're nice.
I do hope i haven't been unpleasant in expressing my surprise at your identity; it just consistently amuses and irritates me that despite being basically the gayest person I know, my queerdar is basically trash garbage. (I also hope nobody is uncomfortable with my consistent use of the word queer; I feel like most of the community sees it as the positive, helpful term I see it as, but i know some folks don't think it's reclaimed the way I do and are hurt by it and I hope anyone who is feels comfortable enough to tell me they don't like its use our having it applied to them).
