Alcohol of any sort is very much an aquired taste and preference can vary greatly with the individual.
And by "preference" I guess I really mean "experience". A lot of people have very negative experiences with etoh and choose to avoid it. And for good reason!
Alcohol can easily turn you into a bumbling asshole (or maybe it just brings out the bumbling asshole that was inside of you all along!) not to mention the really awful health implications of unchecked use. (which I see way too often during hospital times)
Oh speaking of which the 50 year old man who is having alcohol withdraw and can't think or walk coherently needs to be escorted out of the bathroom. Brb.
