"Watson! Leave him!" She demanded, her tone almost a shrieking one. "Kill these bastards!" Breathing a black mist from her mouth, Bohw then turned her head towards Thunderpaw, the hellbent aura fully consuming her form as she channeled a demonic spell in her hand.
"And you... Kyllik, make yourself useful and help me out here."

It seems as though the whispers are all around you and you let yourself be consumed by their rage. To your demonic eyes, it becomes all too clear that your attacker is the shade of the bastard who murdered Darril. He steps over your discarded bow and slashes his cursed dagger across your face, dealing 400 damage and spilling your black blood! In a rage, you rip into his dark form with talons hewn from black magic, dealing 588 damage. (roll 9+9+6)

The duties being pulverizing these unfettered artifacts into scrap heaps. And he will need what mystical might his weapons can grant him.

Watson sets to work trying to out-do a sword at its own game of sword-play. The two steel wills clash together like water and oil, like water and fire and oil in one tumultuous mix!

You lock swords with the hollow knight, trading blow after blow with him, letting sparks fly with each clash until your smaller blade slips past his guard to pierce his breastplate for 372 (roll 6+7+4), thin cracks spreading throughout the armor, rapidly followed by a layer of rime flowing from the cold sheen that envelopes your blade.

Then the armor brings his greatsword to bear in a mighty downward blow, not on you but on the starmetal blade lodged into him in the space between you. The much larger black sword impacts at the base of the starmetal blade, an inch from the hilt. The starmetal snaps, shattering into three pieces that clatter to the floor and leaving you holding the hilt.

Then the armor steps closer and backhands you across the face with his massive gauntlet to deal 600 damage, sending you staggering in shock.

She wanted to rush over to the golem's side to fix the metal heap the best she could, but the ravenfolk had larger things to attend to. There were too many threats present for anyone to be safe, and something had to be done about that. "Just hold out for a little longer," Myra muttered as she began pooling her concentration. The words were directed to both her allies yet no one at all, simply a comfort for her to take in as she tried her best to do what she could in the moment.

The ravenfolk laced together a spell, projecting a magic attack that would Punish the Forsworn terribly. Punish the thing for causing so much trouble for those around her, and for keeping them for that Corvid woman to find her way to them again! Punish the damn creature for being such a cawdamn nuisance!!

Time seems to slow down, and with the orb gifted to you by Renzo, you weave thick ropes of water laced with pure power, lashing them at the back of the shadowy figure assaulting Bohw in dazzling display of hydromancy, alternating between the crushing weight of water and a fine edge of cutting water, wielded like several flowing swords that hack the ephemeral shadow apart under your command, inflicting 5846 damage (roll 20+9, crit)! The shadowy figure writhes under your assault.

But you're not done yet. Seeing the great effect of your attack, you repeat it, albeit woven from pure magic this time, inflicting another 2923 damage on the rapidly dissipating shadows, just for good measure.

The shadow had disappeared, only to reappear right before her eyes next to Bohw, driving its dagger into her before either could react. "Hey!" Just as Savannah is about to go help, however, a loud clanking interrupts her thoughts. A quick glance behind her reveals that stupid suit of armor, loudly clattering towards her. She cracks a smile despite herself and simply ducks as the sword whistles over her head.

"What, ya need a few more holes?" Now crouched on the ground, Savannah swings her glaive, knocking the Forgotten over using the pole of her weapon before springing up and driving the blade into the things back a few times.

Knocking over an animated suit of fullplate proves to be a task just shy of even your enchanted strength and you waste valuable time heaving at your glaive! As it turns towards you, you just settle for poking holes in the black plate for 656 damage. (roll 7+8+8)

You shield Myra for 398 damage (roll 7+6) with a swirling layer of paint! And why yes, the purple color just fits her so much better, a brilliant match to the shade of her eyes.

Kyllik Wrote:Remember.

Amidst Corvid's furious assault, you rip the crystal from where it was embedded in her chest. She falls inert, and you send her clattering to the floor with a forceful shove.

Then, with a snap of your fingers, you call the remaining shard to you from where Mayor dropped it. Sensing a change within the vortex of souls that is slowly filling the cavern, you look up to see several of them writhing, resolving into shapes. Not about to let that pass, you consume as many of the afflicted souls as you can and trap several more within the locket hanging around your neck, but many are yet left.

You turn away and move to face Razan, striding towards him while he is still reeling from your earlier invasion of his mind.

"What must I do?" You demand, forming a telekinetic fist to lift from off the ground by the scruff of his neck. The blade of light falls to the floor and vanishes with a flash, leaving the cavern in darkness once more as Razan is left to futilely kick at the air beneath him, seeking a foothold that is not there.

"We dont know." He gasps. "She never told us. Thirty years and never another word on why. We are left blind in the darkness."

You hesitate for a moment, then resolutely throw the crystal shard at him as if it was a dagger, spinning end over end before burying itself in his chest for 1110 damage. His eyes open wide with pain, but then he smiles as you gently lower him to the cavern floor.

"Thank you."
"Thank you..."

At your call, each shard lit from within by a dim light comes floating to you, forming a halo over your outstretched hand.

Six out of seven. It would have to be enough, for the last is now long lost to you.
