The best ones I've had were on the way to Akaroa (A touristy town an hour and a half away from where i live). We decided to stop at the new cafe that popped up at the usual rest stop and could immediately tell why it was still alive when the other cafe there has been well established for years. Holy crap. @___@

Especially remarkable in that this place is basically the two cafes, an art gallery and a petrol station.
