And thus concludes the first round of Double Overtime.
First off we have Euro Truck with 606 points between seven bidders. It's completely crazy that a game in round seven has gathered more points than any others and clearly has nothing to do with the fact that 2,850 points mysteriously just showed up this round that couldn't have been spend until now.
After that we have Tropico 4's four bidders and 401 points.
Following this is King of Fighters XIII - only two bidders but still at an impressive 275 points. Will Vancho1 finally win something or will amosmyn force him to continue his bad luck streak?
Starting to finally run out of steam we come in with To the Moon at 191 points. Earlier, Crowstone failed to make it home, but it looks like she'll make it there since she is fronting all but 16 of the bidded points.
Looks like after a series of just missing out on finally getting someone out of this mess, we've finally reached the moment where some lucky player will be walking away with two games (sanzh Sans who I forgot won Monaco early on while updating ssh). Both KoH and Carnegie are looking to nab Bioshock, putting in 155 points total. Only one of them can walk away with it though and it's:
It was always probably going to happen when we doubled the amount of games going, but it looks like again we have someone in a pitched battle against themselves. Will Terrabalt triumph over Terrabalt and win Frozen Synapse, or will he have just wasted his points?
Now we've come to the seventh game, Kick Excalibur in the Cro- wait a minute who put this here? This isn't a-
*phone rings*
Hello? I, yeah, what's up with- oh. Wait what? We don't have the- I... alright.
So uh, yeah. KEitC. 147 points, 4 bidders. The winner is:
Anyways, back on schedule we'll end the round off with Psychonauts, which has 135 points and two bidders on it. The winner of the game is:
Well, that was... exhilarating. It's also reminded me of a rule Coldblooded added to the last giveaway about adding weird point amounts. Please do try to stick to multiples of five on everything if you can, it really makes these big updates a lot easier. I can understand if you do want to split your points in a strange way between games (like say you have 100 and want to split them evenly between three), but pointless '1 point on this game just because' bids are a really unnecessary hassle to deal with.
Anyways, here are our new point totals!
