I'll start:
Quote:Sometimes I'll spend my evenings just watching youtube clips of movies I watched over a decade ago, but the idea of sitting down and just watching the entire film exhausts me.
Also I chose Verdana as the font for this bit because, serifs feel pretentious but using comic sans stresses me out.
Note: If some chucklehead comes in here and says: "Haha, Actually. I'm 19, lmfao." or some BS like that I will ban you so hard in a such blatant unjust abuse of power that a Seal-Team-6 will bust down my door to deport me to the Hauge for trial.
(You're welcome use the space to get in touch with your inner millennial cringe though)
that one guy, that does that one thing.

This post is beautiful.
This post has singlehandedly convinced me that EagleTime needs a system for "reacting" to posts, because: (and this is appropriate for this thread), Normally, if I enjoy a post and I don't have an immediate way to react to it I won't say anything, but if I can pseudo-anonymously click a icon, I absolutely will do so.
Honestly, there's so many banger posts on this site that not letting people know we appreciate their unique wit is a crime.

Here's one:
I find the feeling expressed in this video extremely relatable and a personal truth for me. However, instead of taking the time to elaborate on my experience, I'll instead post the video here and expect anyone who comes across it to waste a minute or more of their lives and this counts in my brain as a positive social interaction.

That was attempt number one at pioneering reactions onto this website. I'll call it a mixed success:
pros:
it's immediately after the thing that is being reacted to (lets call this the subject of the reaction)
denotes a clear and legible emotional reaction
gives the person recieving the reaction a warm and fuzzy feeling (probably)
cons:
only one person can do it before it looks like you're reacting to someone elses reaction
has to be carried out before anyone else can post something you might want to react to
ambiguous? is the connection between the reaction and the subject clear and obvious?

i dont like people talking about the parkour civilization thing. i dont get it.
Standing here, The way ahead's becoming clear
All across these new frontiers
In my hands I hold the ones I love
Walk forward through the cold dawn
Always to new horizons

I tend to just use "Lessons In Meme Culture" to inform me about these sort of things. Sometimes though the topic seems stressful, so I'll skip it.
