Neha, disgraced former Cosmosdex Editor Wrote:The universe is a weird place. Extremely weird. One might even call it unusual. The cosmosdex is a great way to navigate your way around this strange place we call our home but it's only the surface. Take a little time to dig deeper. Visit the wrong online forums, talk to the shady looking guy behind that run down store, tune into that radio show on a station that doesn't exist and you might learn things. Things you'll never see on a fancy site like the cosmosdex.
"Okay," you say "that's great and all Yaveker, we're all very impressed with your stupid opening what's the point of this thread?"
Well, hypothetical reader, I'm so very, very glad you asked in such a passive aggressive way! Inspired by "The Leak" thread on the SCP wiki, this is a general place for authors of cosmosdex articles to post things that wouldn't have made sense to include in its cosmosdex entry. Thing's that most people in universe don't know about, the D E E P L O R E. Or just things you couldn't figure out how to include or weren't important enough to be mentioned. I wouldn't take anything in this thread as hard cannon, since gime has final say on what is and what isn't canonical, so take these more as author headcannons than cold, hard, metal canons.
FAQ
Q: Can I post head cannons for articles that aren't mine
A: While I can't physically stop you from doing this in anyway, I will kindly ask you not to. If you'd like to do something like this, feel free to make your own thread!
Q: Any sort of format or anything for us to follow when posting these?
A: Personally, I'd use something like this:
Code: ARTICLE TITLE
Stuff about the article goes here.
But hey, it's a free country. Got something you like better? Go for it dude.
Q: If I'm not an author can I still participate in this?
A: Here's where I'm not so sure. I think it'd be fine to ask authors further questions based on what they've revealed but I understand not everyone will want to reveal everything about their works or be constantly questioned on things they've made. Basically please don't pressure people to answer your questions and don't be disappointed if you don't get answers. To aid in reading I'd suggest quoting the post you're replying to so that the thread as a whole can stay more cohesive. Please snip any excessively long quotes as well, please.
Q: None of these questions have been asked before, thus there is no way this could qualify as frequently asked questions and should instead be title along the lines of "possible questions and answer" or just "questions and answers", furthermore the final question of a Q&A section being some sort of joke is unoriginal and overused.
A: You've got a good point.
I'll start off with my space nanite capitalists, the fhelzo.
Fhelzo

Spoiler
Implied in the article but only if you read a bit between the lines, the fhelzo never actually left their home world and instead consumed it, turning it into Ferrum while killing off any of the original sentient life that created them. Weather this was accidental or intentional is unclear.
Anther things I didn't get to mention in the article. Fhelzo typically take a long time to respond to questions or commands given to them. This is because each fhelzo acts as its own minuter hive mind that has to be 100% sure of its next action before it acts. While this does take a very short time since they are robots, the fhelzo then waits to see if any new information will present itself and only acts once it is sure of the situation it is in. This can lead to a Fhelzo staring at someone who's just asked it something for up to a full minute before responding.
Fhelzo generally cause things around them to corrode faster than normal and can cause skin irritation as they are constantly and slowly to replace broken or damaged nanites.consuming their surrounding environment
Finally, when a fhelzo is first created from the recycled remains of the previous cycles fhelzo they start off very small, a bit under a foot in size. They then grow quickly to their normal high of 7 feet by consuming the environment around them.

Don Wilmack owner of Don Wilmack's Wacky House of Wares!

Spoiler
Don Wilmack, owner of Don Wilmack's Wacky House of Wares actually has pretty major daddy issues, which is especially bad considering both of his parents are dads. He feels abandoned by the Sleeper and rejected by Pluto, and a major motivation for making Don Wilmack's Wacky House of Wares is to prove to himself that he doesn't need them in his life to be successful
When you become an employee, you become a member of the family. That's why your name changes while you're working under his roof. For example, if Rodney Ootkins decided to buy an antidote in exchange for working a few years, he would become Rodney Wilmack, Employee of Don Wilmacks Wacky House of Wares!

Pyronians and Jark Tinflamor
Show Content
Spoiler
Jark is still alive. His plan to extend his lifespan at the cost of the majority of his original body worked surprisingly well, and he continues to manipulate various pyronian conflicts from behind the scenes. Many of the very first tribes were in fact created by followers of Jark in order to stir up conflict. Jark's brother, Jay, mentioned in one of his bits of trivia, actually started his own peaceful tribe to stop Jark's warmongering, and is seen as a prophet of the god Our Scribe. I plan to make a list of various bits of trivia about the other tribes like this one day.
There's also a TON of info about Brimstonair that I plan to add in a rewrite one day. Most notably, the star that Brimstonair orbits anomalously emits darkness instead of light! The implications of this will be elaborated on in said rewrite

Poppets
Poppets using hides for skin isn't their only option, just the one with the most publicity. Any type of woven plant fiber or fabric will do, which is a large part of why the surface is so barren.
Given that the standard poppet skin is either over-recycled biomass printed into sheets or worn hand-me-downs and has been so for a very long time; this being uncommon knowledge even among poppets themselves isn't terribly surprising.
Quiet. Good for an unusual opinion. Doesn't talk much.
