Questions about the history of this place
Hello, I'm writing a journal about various facets of the history of MSPA, and I was directed to this place by someone who used to be a forum moderator. I don't know anything about Eagle Time Forums or the early history of MSPA forums themselves; I was going to ask about this over on the discord but the invite link has expired.

If any of you would be willing to answer these questions, please let me know; I'd like to write down this information so that it's accessible for people who'd like to know what happened in the past. If you have information for me or know of other people I could consult about this, please contact me. I'm fine with any format, but I'm especially accessible on Discord: Drew Linky#6251.

Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.

RE: Questions about the history of this place
I sent you a friend request on Discord before realizing I can just post an updated (permanent) Discord link in here for ya. Some folks are more willing than others to talk about The Old Days (it wasn't all fun and games), but I think (hope?) you'll find plenty of people who're willing to answer at least a couple of questions about the MSPA Forums' life and eventual untimely demise.

That said, the perspective you'll get from most Eagletimers is that of folks who most often frequented the MSPA Fan Adventure (MSPAFA), the Role-Playing and the Forum Games subforums (somewhat weighted towards the former two). We certainly frequented other forums than just those, but I think everyone who lived through the (relatively) early history of the MSPA forums that's still around on Eagletime had their nest in one of those 3. If you want a more in-depth view of some other specific subforums (especially later in the MSPA forums' life cycle when the subforum communities diverged somewhat) you might have to find the people best informed on them elsewhere. However, at the very least Eagletimers should be able to help you find where to look for those people.

In any case here's the promised Discord link: https://discord.gg/Y5PpQWE

See you in there! Minion

Excellent, thank you. I've been contacted by Schazer already but I'm definitely not going to turn down the opportunity to talk to more people about this. I've joined the Discord and accepted your friend request, looking forward to talking with you in detail.
