<<Is stacking allowed in your items or one item per thing?>>
Only certain items can be stacked. If the item is designed for stacking, like a plate, it can
sometimes even be stacked infinitely, but there is usually a limit to how many of an item
you can fit in a single stack.

You place the loot you'd be willing to barter away on the countertop. The clerk tells you

After re-bagging all your loot you make your way across the street and step into the shop
of the village blacksmith, Master Irving. He smiles bittersweetly noticing both sheaths at
Daren's sides still have the swords he got here earlier in the day. Sweetly because his works
weren't carelessly lost again; bitterly because it means you won't likely be needing more.
Ony Wrote:Do items need repair and can this guy repair?
Dreamscythes231 Wrote:Can this guy make those bones into something useful and those heel bones into a more lasting jumping shoes though not as high???
<<Do items need repair and can this guy repair?>>
An outright broken item can use repairs, only able to be done by such blacksmiths. Though
as long as you're not careless, most circumstances won't risk breaking a weapon. You
should be able to keep a weapon in good condition with normal daily maintenance on your
own. And a sharpening stone can help you keep it from dulling over time, and give you a
nice temporary bonus after use.
You browse Master Irving's currently limited stock.
<<Can this guy make those bones into something useful and those heel bones into a more lasting jumping shoes though not as high?>>
Master Irving might not be able to do much with the heels magically, but he can carve and
craft them and the other bones into a variety of physical things; a more magically inclined
craftsman might be able to work the magic after the physical object is created.
Ony Wrote:Let's do that.

As Ácruan residents, Master Irving is willing to help you at no cost as long as you
supply any unconventional components and ingredients. It'll take at least a few hours
to make and he has a backlog to get through first, but if you leave the bones here he'll
make something along the lines of whatever instructions you leave for the commissioned
piece(s).
<<Duo: Assess finance>>
The Druidic Order discourages common use of currency much like they do the common
use of the written word in Cael; so you have no "money" to speak of, and would be hard
pressed into finding someone who'd take it if you did.

back to the trader and figure out what you want to barter.

Any type of Burden, from satchels to sacks, purses to pouches, to bags to bundles, can
help you hold more items. The number of items is determined by how many IUs a container
can store. Although, you're both carrying as many Burdens on your backs as you can without
slowing yourselves down. Some containers such as purses or belt pouches take up a
different Equipment Slot, but are rarely able to hold more than a few IUs.

SpoilerSo i'm guessing the setting's High Fantasy with some anachronism mixed in here and there [Like Sir Huffington's suit].
Humans - are split into kingdoms and are still fighting each other.
Elves - Are a thing
Dwarves - Are helping one of the human kingdoms.
Giants[or whatever they're called] - Are neutral as a race though some if not most are helping the fae
Fae - are currently the big bad and have annoying text speech
And the Druid Order is getting weaker having influence only in sporadic areas.... probably to the war.
Did I get all of these correctly?

I mean, why isn't the Druid order also more powerful than normal if it's a conclave of nature magic users unless other people have other magic.... right?
<<What is this Mesmyrdia Conflict?>>
The current conflict is being fought over pride and religious creed, following the Sinking of
Mesmyr, capital city of the Mesmyrdian Empire at the hands of the Druidic Order five years ago,
and the subsequent collapse of the empire that followed soon after. The war began sweeping
through Astarpa thirty-five years ago, when the mutual intolerance of the opposing sects
of Munostianity erupted into a series of insurrections and inquisitions throughout the empires.
That was until Mesmyrdia enacted laws breaking tenants of Druidic tradition. Within a month,
the tip of the tallest tower in Mesmyr was dozens of fathoms below sea level. In the five years
since, the former empire's provinces have risen up as independent kingdoms and those that haven't
either declared fealty to another of the empires or were annexed. Mercenary warbands roam in the
wake of the clashing forces, scavenging anything the locals manage to hide from the imperial armies
like scraps of carrion.

SpoilerHuh.......
HUH.
So i'm guessing DnD is a huge influence on this web adventure I take it.
Druids are both well, druids and have the function of Clerics in which they can revive people/things.
Unsure if Fae could be revived since they are not from the realm thus Outsiders but there being a canon Fae druid means that they could be revived and he probably has that purpose on the small Fae.... group thing? Army? Court? IDK.
Mesmyrdia was a super empire which along with having a ruler have [in this settings standards] atheist beliefs (formerly pagan, though i'm curious what pagan worship entails, it can't be worshiping the earth since that's a Druid thing [in this story maybe] which wouldn't be called pagan, this calls into question what's the actual main beliefs/deities.... maybe pagan worship is the worship of fae? That would be a shocker since Fae are canonly bloodthirsty speciest hell bent on omnicide/genocide from what I gather.....maybe)
Along with being an Atheist, the ruler of Mesmyrdia is also pretty stupid [maybe a God Complex... or an ANTI-God Complex] since he broke the rules of an Order KNOWN TO HAVE MAGIC/NATURE POWERS, THAT CAN REVIVE WILLING PEOPLE BACK FROM THE DEAD. (Though alternatively, the whole Mesmyrdia fault may be on purpose and due to wanting to seize power they staged it to justify sinking a capital city/country filled with innocents into the ocean, plus he declared atheist, all heretics must die probs in their eyes. Great! This is delicious, the moral ambiguity. WOOH!)
However, it could seem to be a failed attempt at a show of power (not that i'm saying it is, but maybe, who knows if the Druidic Order is truly good.....maybe not since they've fully willing to sink a city.) since this MAY have lessened the charm of the Druidic way as a religion.
The two countries may be fantasy counterpart France and England probs or is it Spain and Portugal, either way, two biggest competitors trying to seize the tiny individual citystates.
Huh, maybe the main religion/pagan is the whole Nordic Pantheon....
Also maybe I missed it but where are the people currently, I mean what country are our protagonist in? I'm talking confusedly and rambling I should sleep. Although I guess non-druid magic is possible, but maybe hereticized due to the power of the Druid Order or the main religion.... IDK, so many thoughts
