i'm dumping these here to talk about my minecraft and also make these screenshots easyy for pyp to see
from a very high place, top of the diving board, you can see all around. i've done a lot of work using lava to make bridges across nearby bodies of water and also to fill in all the creeper craters everywhere.
now i am looking at my base! this is what it is shaped like.
and here is all the horses, and you can also see the pens for the sheep which i have every color, and the cows and the chickens
front door is the only way into the base. aside from building stairs to go over the wall or digging a hole in, neither of which mobs cannot do, thankfully.
i don't like mobs. placing torches efficiently to ward off monsters is hard but it's okay because i have a ton of torches.
this is my main crop, has wheat beetroot potato carrot. justin made it, but i just took it over. i don't harvest anything anymore though, i just let it sit around looking nice and pretty. another irl friend will join the server soon hopefully and i want her to take over the farm cause she likes farming.
justin is an irl friend, and is the admin of the server i'm playing this on. he's been playing a lot longer and has built, in survival, a huge base that's massive and amazing, but wanted to start over with new players so it would be more fun for everyone.
however, turns out i am playing much much more than everyone else. so all justin has done here is make this tiny little house. no one else has really played with me...
also, there's a secret basement. sshhh, don't tell anyone
some more crops. sugarcane, pumpkin, melon, cactus. i only have very little of it growing because i am too lazy and don't want to be harvesting this stuff constantly. and as mentioned above with the main farmfield, i don't really harvest anything at all.
there are also cocoa beans growing on the back of the bulletin board. right now the bulletin board is empty, cause i've done everything i plan to do in the short term at the moment. maybe should make more arrows....
this is a tower that another of justin's friend built. that's all they built though, and now it's just here. i go in it sometimes but there is nothing really in it. it's nice though! also you can see the diving board pole beyond it.
i put the nether portal in this little bunker halfway into the ground. then later, on top of the bunker i built the diving pole. at the base of the diving pole are these instructions.
you're supposed to fall from the diving board onto the slime blocks, which will bounce you up real high and then you'll land in the fountain. it's fun and works perfectly. if you mess up the fall then hopefully at lleast you can land on the haybales. that will allow you to survive such a great fall. some of the haybales i've made into the kidz diving board.
oh, and once you get out of the fountain, you'll see this sign. it's a special sign, that thanks to a server-side mod, will teleport you do another world, where creative mode is allowed. one day i'll build a huge theme park there, and it'll be like 'did you enjoy the diving board, then teleport to the creative world to try more fun things'
this little access tunnel leads into a big downwards spiral staircase i built under the fountain. it's not actually a well, so it's a mislabel. oops.
i haven't done anythhing down underground there except build the stairs.
in minecraft, lava and water can mix in a certain way that you can take advantage of to get infinite cobblestone. however lava and water don't make any sense in minecraft and i couldn't get it to work right. this piece of modern art is what's left of my attempt to make such a cobblestone generator
the little farm for netherwart mushrooms is next to it. i forgot to take a good screenshot of it, so you can just see parts of it in a corner of a few of the pictures. it's not very exciting. its just mushroom rectangle.
finally this is my house. it is five stories tall; basement, foyer, bedroom, lookout room, and penthouse.
basement and foyer are wider than the top part, so the bedroom gets to have a little balcony on the side. you can take that ladder straight up to the penthouse without having to actually go inside the house itself
the views from the edge of the rooftop. the penthouse has a bunch of random junk on top of it, including the button that opens the door. its made out of dark oak wood cause it's the darkest, and even with good lighting, it's still hard to see.
once inside, you can't push the button anymore, so now you're stuck in this cramped, dark, shitty room-with-a-view that has sort of a maze in it to make it hard to reach the bed. it's very accommadating and lovely. i'm going to make my farming friend live here. she'll love it,
now you can go downstairs. this is the look out room, without real walls so that it's easier to look around at the countryside. i never use this room because looking around at the countryside turns out to be a thing that i don't have to do much.
down another floor is the bedroom. behind me is the doors to the balcony. i don't really use this room for anything except to sleep.
two views of the foyer. i don't use this room for anything except to walk through it to reach the basement or the bedroom.

this is the basement where i have many many chests that contain all of the stuff i have. all the materials and stuff i've harvested, all carefully sorted. i have a potion brewing stand, an anvil, crafting table, and a semi-automatic furnace, which i can access from the foyer via the chest poking though the floor.
oh and under thata last pic is an endorsement for postimage that got put in automatically. i don't mind, they've earned it. i like postimage.
