Twelve Realms: The Worlds Divided

Character Name: Sophia Stark

Appearance: Sophia stands at 6'2", with a strong, sturdy build from a childhood of rough, rigorous farming in Cornshrine. She has long cornsilk hair (typically tied back), a tanned skintone (from working in the sun), and looks to be in her early twenties. She typically wears flannel or plaid shirts and jeans, with functional work boots. In winter, she utilizes a nice old brown leather jacket. When manning her food truck, she usually wears an apron.

In terms of personality, she's usually pretty friendly and chipper. She has a strong sense of morality, enjoys cooking, and is an eager listener of radio serials. Really, she's just your typical farmgirl, outside of her divine heritage granting her the ability to stab holes through solid steel.

Hometown/Home Realm: Cornshrine, the World of Iron. Someday she's hoping to move to Dawson Island, where she dreams of opening up a restaurant. Or maybe just a food truck.

Bio: As far as Sophia is aware, she was born to Henry and Abigail Stark in the Cornshrine town clinic. Henry Stark had believed himself infertile after years of unsuccessful attempts at having a child with his wife, but sometimes hard work was rewarded you!

Sophia had a relatively normal childhood! She helped out on the farm, went to the town schoolhouse, and had a strong, healthy, respectful relationship with her loving parents. Things seemed pretty normal. Then one day, when struggling to open the frozen door of her father's truck, she tore the door right off and fell flat on her back. Her parents had found that quite strange, but hey! Weirder things happened! So their daughter had freakish strength? So what!? Sure it was accompanied by their daughter speaking a strange language, having an absurd level of physical ability including innate combat knowledge, and other such things. Sure a weird animal brought a strange spear to their door one day! That was normal!

In school she hid her strength and never tried out for sports, instead diligently studying the culinary arts. She became an excellent cook, renowned by her family for her prowess.

Once she graduated, she started itching to move to the big city. She yearned to be among people, where she could meet new faces and promptly share her cooking with them.

Ascent: Sophia was born with her abilities! She doesn't know why or how.

Thaddeus "Teddy" Stark - Paternal grandfather. Fought against the aberrations in the First Incursion of Pavilion City back in the day. He died a few years before Sophia was born.

Margaret Stark - Paternal grandmother. Died of a heart attack. She was a fun, wild, daredevil of a woman who loved taking risks. Was also a mean cook, and gave Sophia her love of culinary adventure. Died about ten years ago.

Henry Stark - Father, farmer. A kind, generous, compassionate, and surprisingly progressive man who operates his farm in Cornshrine. He enjoys nonviolent sports, treats his farmhands well, and is generally an upstanding fellow. He's about fifty years old.

Abigail Stark - Mother, farmer. A good-natured, charitable, and similarly progressive woman who helps her husband operate his farm. She enjoys building models and painting in her spare time. She's about fifty as well.

Edward Stark - Uncle, younger brother of Henry Stark. He's a ship engineer living in Dawson Island municipality. He and his brother are on good terms, and Edward is quite thankful that Henry took over the family farm. He is a calm, quiet, and professional man. Loves sea life, city life, and hates country life. He's a few years younger than Henry.

Martina Stark - Aunt, wife of Edward. Owns a successful bar near the water on Dawson Island. A charismatic and peppy woman.

Dr. William Stark - Cousin, son of Edward and Martina, a couple years older than Sophia (around 22). A rising star in the scientific field, William currently works at a laboratory on Dawson Island. Sophia and him are childhood friends, and she looks forward to visiting him once she moves to town. He's a driven and passionate individual, though not without a comedic side, and often fills his work with jokes and puns when he can get away with it.

Thaddeus "Ted" Stark - Cousin, son of Edward and Martina, Sophia's age (around 19). The free-spirited member of Edward's household, Thaddeus is in a mildly successful band that travels around the urban areas, and enjoys drinking, partying, and generally living one hell of a crazy lifestyle. He probably has some kind of positive relationship with the Spikers, to get away with it as easily as he does.

Anna Stark - Cousin, daughter of Edward and Martina, a few years younger than Sophia (so probably about 16). The quiet, calm, composed child, she is currently going to school in Dawson Island. She intends to get an apprenticeship to become a veterinarian.

Billy Lee - Maternal grandfather, Abigail's father, around 70 years old. Fought against the Motorheads when they attempted to spread west across Empire River, former amateur boxer, professional poker player, hardworking handyman, and now an author of children's books. Billy Lee is a constantly-grinning joker of a man who has lived one hell of a crazy life. Settled in Cornshrine but born in the megalopolis.

Joanne Lee - Maternal grandmother, Abigail's mother, around 68 years old. Expert seamstress and designer. Does a lot of freelance work to help with the household finances. A courteous, polite, and proper old woman.

Arnold Lee - Uncle, Abigail's brother, around 50. The Mayor of Cornshrine, former lawyer. He's a good, upstanding man. Likes golf, hiking, and has a strong admiration of Tiedao history and a fascination with its associated mysteries. It's what his degree was in before going to law school.

Emily Lee - Aunt, Abigail's sister-in-law, around 48. A nurse at the small Cornshrine clinic. She's a sarcastic, witty woman with a love of knitting and movies.

John Lee - Cousin, child of Arnold and Emily, around Sophia's age. Goes to college in the city. Enjoys swimming, running, track, and movies as well.

Emma Lee - Cousin, child of Arnold and Emily, around 16. Is a poet, a writer, and an artist. Goes to school in Cornshrine.

Brianna North - Best friend from school. Sophia's age. Bright, kind, and driven woman studying under the town doctor. Likes plays and dramatic books.
