Hello there my fleshie buddies and my superior robotic companions to this episode of.........
GAMESHOW!
My name is Sisyphus' Demon, or as you may know me, Sisyphus. I am your benevolent lord, master, protector, and administrator.
As you know, people sign up for our lovely gameshow in order to further the pursuit of science, knowledge, and of course to attain whatever pathetic goals their temporary minds desire.
Contestants are grouped into separate player groups.
Everyone answers questions, and as we know Majority Rules!
This means that the entire group's answer will become the most commonly submitted answer from that group.
If the correct answer has been submitted the entire group moves onto the next question and gains points. If they all answer incorrectly, they all die : D
There are exceptions as we have varying question types, different logics behind answers, and we have even different type of answer results.
Player groups all have points per group, and once the group manages to get the correct number of points they can choose to finish their game. However, each person's points contribute to the group, and if any single person decides to finish the game early, they can leave everyone else behind!
Stay tuned for the ruleset we play by, game types, the losers who managed to get banned from playing anymore, the graveyard, and the signup form if you want your deepest desires rewarded (or if your inferior mind actually desires a cease of existence).

After the usual rigamarole we'll get to introducing our contestants, the practice round, and then playing the actual game!

Rules

1. There are no excuses for not knowing the rules
   
2. Players will answer questions
   
3. The majority vote on a question becomes the group's answer
   
4. If a group answers correctly they move on and are rewarded with points
   
5. If a group answers incorrectly the entire group dies (except for android members of the group)
   
6. Only humans and androids may play.
   
7. Refusing to answer a question is punishable by death for the defiant individual.
   
8. Hacking an android is punishable by death.
   
9. Players who amass a sufficient amount of points may win the game.
   
10. Groups have a total amount of points from all their members.
    
11. Players may donate their points to the group's total permanently.
    
12. Groups with sufficient amount of points may win the game.
    
13. Androids choose their answer at the start of a question, and cannot change their opinion.
    
14. Players may choose their answer so long as the entire group has not finished answering.
    
15. Androids will never outmember human group members.
    
16. Murdering an android is punishable by death.
    
17. Every batch of questions is a round.
    
18. After a round, groups will get a break period to mourn those who have died.
    
19. After a few rounds, the game may take a break for a few days, or weeks.
    
20. Players may change what group they are in between rounds.
    
21. Groups may speak to each other between rounds.
    
22. If a contestant dies during a game and is brought back to life in the future, they will resume as a player.
    
23. If a player's consciousness does not also return, a new one may be assigned.
    
24. New contestants will join the game at the start of the next round in a new group.
    
25. Points may be exchanged between players and groups between rounds, or for rewards or items.
    
26. Each question a hint will be given to let players know what went into Sisyphus' decision on the question's answer.
    
27. Audience members are welcome to propose questions.
    
28. Audience members may discuss how they feel about a question.
    
29. Outside of breaks, contestants are not allowed to use audience responses, or anything the audience says, in a way that would allow them to communicate with the audience. This is punishable by death.
    
30. Rules may be changed at any time, or new ones added.
    

Answer & Game Types

Answer Types:
-Yes/No or True/False, self explanatory
-Multiple choice
-Open/Short Answer: there will be a set of accepted answers. Someone must get an answer close to an accepted answer.
-Essay: Convince Sisyphus that your answer is correct. This means the discussion phase is your answer, but players may answer independently on this. However, if a group does not have a unanimous answer, players in that group who are incorrect will be executed.

Game Types:
-Majority Rules: Simple as pie. The most commonly chosen answer is the group's answer.
-The Power of One: A randomized player in each group is selected. This is kept secret from the group. This player's answer is the answer for the entire group. In version A, the selected player will die after they answer. In version B only the selected player will die if they are wrong. In version C, the entire group dies if they are wrong.
-Minority Rules: The least commonly chosen answer is selected for the group's answer.

A hideous wonderous contraption of gears and loose wires approaches the signup office, belching in its wake a sickly gray cloud from its exhaust pipe. With a click and a whirr, the android, if it can even be called that, spits out a receipt with lettering haphazardly burned into it, which then is cut, and flutters to the ground.

Having done what it came here to do, the hopeful automaton turns and clatters back out the door on its rapidly stomping feet. It's almost a miracle that it didn't fall over during the entire process.

((Whoops I should probably notate that the setting is a bit sci-fi, not on earth, in a subterranean egalitarian (outside of the class differences between organic humans and inorganic robots) socialist society. Paying for food and shelter are not a part of this society as it is something provided for free, /but/ this can still work towards Dale being selfish. Manipulative relatives and all.
Also characters do not have to be consensual players. This is how they deal with criminals.))
