You give the knob an experimental turn, and find that this DOOR is now unlocked. STATE SAVED. (Whenever something meaningful happens, the STATE is SAVED. A majority of the commands entered being ">REWIND" will cause time to revert to the last time the STATE was SAVED. This can only occur once per update, but can be done on consecutive updates to go back several STATES if desired. It mostly means you don't need to worry too much about doing something irrevocable that makes a win condition impossible. You can also, at any time, request a list of the existing SAVED STATES, which will be presented in reverse chronological order, i.e., the order they will be returned to if ">REWIND" is selected multiple times in a row, and each of which will include a brief description of what event caused the STATE to be SAVED at that time.) > RE: You are in a room in a room in... - Kíeros - 08-22-2016 > Open door and enter the next room RE: You are in a room in a room in... - Ixcaliber - 08-22-2016 Use your furniture to build a makeshift smaller room in the middle of this room, get inside and lock the door. For clarity's sake, the innermost room will be referred to as "ROOM 1", this room is "ROOM 2", the room beyond it is "ROOM 3", and so on. Also for clarity's sake, we will call the side you have just entered the "NORTH" side and name the other sides according to the usual way of indicating cardinal directions; these directions will persist for future rooms. In the NORTH side of ROOM 2, you find a blank wall opposite you, the same glass ceiling as ever, and about halfway between the DOOR you just entered and the opposite wall, a BLACK TABLE with a BLUE BALANCING SCALE on it. You can manage the seat cushions of the COUCH, the back of the COUCH, and its armrests into something resembling 4 walls, but you have no GLASS to make a CEILING out of and you have absolutely no way to make a DOOR, much less to lock one. So you abandon the idea for now, and put the COUCH back together. > RE: You are in a room in a room in... - Ixcaliber - 08-25-2016 balance on that blue scale RE: You are in a room in a room in... - Kíeros - 08-25-2016 > Flip the table RE: You are in a room in a room in... - Xindaris - 08-25-2016 (08-25-2016, 12:39 AM)Ixcaliber Wrote: »balance on that blue scale The plates are too small for your feet to fit in them, you just know you'll only succeed in falling over. There is a PILE OF SAND here, and the outside wall here has a single WHITE OUTLET--strangely, it is not a normal pair of outlets, just the one. You go ahead and try to turn on the TV again; this time it responds to the power button, and the screen immediately displays a close-up of a CABINET. The CABINET's doors have a padlock holding them shut. (08-28-2016, 12:04 AM)The Walrus Wrote: »>Hold the scale with the crack facing the ground, and give it a good shake to see if anything falls out. Its keyhole(?) has "$1" embossed on its metal. There is also a stool with a miniature replica of Michelangelo's David, except that it's made of some kind of RED stone and the hand's position has been modified so that the titular David is...picking his nose. You try just pressing down on the empty side with your fist and your own weight and it fails to budge. You're beginning to think that it might just be broken or something. > RE: You are in a room in a room in... - OTTO - 08-29-2016 You must be registered to view this content. |
