Like A Dragon Fan Thread - Solaris - 11-02-2023
like a dragon also known as yakuza is a long running sega franchise of games, with most of the entries being beat em up action games and the latest and next years release being both turn based rpgs
i go into massive detail here about how much i love this series, but the short version is that these games all have a variety of fun characters and situations and that the two protagonists, Kiryu Kazama and Ichiban Kasuga are fascinating and lovely.
the next game in the series, like a dragon infinite wealth is going to turn me into dust and im going to make it everyones problem

I was playing through chronologically and then I got to the start of 5 and got really really distracted for several years.
Love Majima.

also five is. five has a lot of fun and good stuff in it, the kiryu segment in it is like, genuinely sooooooooooooooo good but it uh. its..... not my favorite lol

I started with 0 because it's the lowest number that means you play it first. I almost fell off the series entirely because I refused to move on until I finished the Cabaret Club stuff.
But having played it that way around really enhanced the experience of playing 1 for me. The betrayal just hit so much harder, I was not ready for it after their dynamic in 0.
