Re: Vera and the Dragon - Schazer - 08-07-2011 Buy out the dragons; cause a ruction in their ranks as some of their number sell out and watch the whole species die out in petty gang warfare. Re: Vera and the Dragon - Jovian - 08-07-2011 >Take stock of equipment.
You have your trusty SWORD and SHEILD. That's what every knight needs! >Inspect the nearby tree for clues. The only thing interesting to note is that the tree has some awful CLAW MARKS in the side. Oh no! Surely any manner of horrible beast could have made them, but you have a sneaking suspicion this must be the work of the DRAGON! >Examine surroundings. You are in a lovely field! There is a town nearby. You aren't from there, but you visit from time to time. It's where the judge lives! You recall there being a lake and mountains around here, in opposite directions. Re: Vera and the Dragon - Mirdini - 08-07-2011 > Enter town to have a chat with your local JUDGESTICE. Re: Vera and the Dragon - AgentBlue - 08-07-2011 >Attempt to chop down tree. Re: Vera and the Dragon - Dragon Fogel - 08-07-2011 >Head to town! Maybe somebody saw the dragon recently. Re: Vera and the Dragon - Not The Author - 08-07-2011 Are the claw marks just on the tree? Surely something like a dragon would've left more evidence? 'Specially if the claw marks are indicative of its size at all. Is there any evidence those marks were made recently? Then again, if this is Re: Vera and the Dragon - Infrared - 08-08-2011 > Frolic Re: Vera and the Dragon - goggleman64 - 08-08-2011 Vera: Look for signs of the dragon's trail. Be brave, but cautious. Re: Vera and the Dragon - Ixcaliber - 08-08-2011 >Don't worry it is your fate to kill the dragon. Clearly you cannot fail. Dragon: Be called Alice. Re: Vera and the Dragon - Jovian - 08-08-2011 >Are the claw marks just on the tree? Surely something like a dragon would've left more evidence. Head to town and check for witnesses.
The roofs! Was this an attack?? It's like a ghost town out here. You hope everyone's safe. "Psst!" Oh? >Have a chat with your local JUDGESTICE. "Vera! What are you doing over here?" It's the judge! He is rather stingy and can be pretty critical at times, but he's very smart and always knows what to do. He's taught you a lot! "What happened?" "What do you think? The dragon happened. He seemed to be heading for somewhere else but decided to pick on us along the way. Fortunate, yet horrible all the same." Re: Vera and the Dragon - Dragon Fogel - 08-08-2011 >Which way did he go? Re: Vera and the Dragon - MaxieSatan - 08-08-2011 Oh, that's just what you needed to finish your adventuring garb! > Take JUDGEHAT. Re: Vera and the Dragon - Taylor - 08-08-2011 > Where is he headed now? Why is it fortunate? Barrage him with loads and loads of questions. Re: Vera and the Dragon - Jovian - 08-10-2011 >Take JUDGEHAT.
"Vera. This is serious. Give that back." >Which way did he go? "He went south, toward the lake. Probably off to terrorize that village too." "I'm worried because it's the historical home of the Trial of Water. The dragon knows what will defeat him, and he seeks to destroy it." Re: Vera and the Dragon - Ixcaliber - 08-10-2011 >The trial of water will kill him? Or someone who completes the trial of water will kill him? Either way, after that dragon! Re: Vera and the Dragon - Taylor - 08-10-2011 > You have your first quest! Would you like t- Ignore the ensuing quest tutorial and get straight back to adventuring. Re: Vera and the Dragon - Niall - 08-11-2011 I see. Do you need me here, or should I attempt to stop it? Re: Vera and the Dragon - MaxieSatan - 08-11-2011 Niall Wrote:I see. Do you need me here, or should I attempt to stop it?If he says anything like "it's much too dangerous" this just means it is YOUR DESTINY to stop it. Re: Vera and the Dragon - Jovian - 08-12-2011 >The trial of water will kill him?
The judge sighs. "I forget you're so young. You weren't around the last time we had a dragon attack." "There are three Trials: the Trial of Water, the Trial of Air, and the Trial of Dust. Completing these Trials gives one the ability to slay a dragon and proves that one is worthy of such a feat. It's basically a security measure to make sure no one's stupid enough to charge headlong and get oneself killed. No one can take a dragon on one's own." >Do you need me here, or should I attempt to stop it? "Well, if you really want to try...I don't see why you can't. The elves in the lake village make sure no one dies during their Trial. It's just a matter of passing or failing. And if they're in trouble...they could always use the help."
