Interstice - Anomaly - 07-30-2012

Time has run out.

In spite of our best efforts, the Interstice has fallen.

Splintered fragments of universes, stabilized into a cohesive mass... Foolish.

Foolish of us to think that our experiment would not go unnoticed.

There is little left of our land now. Each day, more is corrupted. Twisted. Swallowed into nothingness. But perhaps...

Perhaps the Interstice is not lost. Perhaps it can be revitalized. Perhaps it can be restabilized.

But it is too late for us. Too late for me.

Power has almost been depleted. The inhabitants of the Interstice will be unable to stop this. But there is yet hope.

Six can be retrieved. They will receive no warning. Who they are,
what they are, I cannot know. All I can know is this.

They are our last hope.

Welcome to the Interstice, a land composed of a random assortment of pieces of different universes. You will play the role of six unfortunate beings, pulled through time and space in order to save this failing land. Be advised that the vast majority of this once-stable plane has become infested, murderous. In this case, murderous toward you. You have no choice in this matter. There is not enough energy to send you home.

Go save the world. Or die. Doesn't really matter to me. I won't kill anyone without reason. Even if you die you can probably be revived unless there's a really good reason otherwise. Don't worry too much about it. You'll probably be fine.

Entries are not first come first serve. There may be opportunities to join the game after it has started. Don't pester me about it; you'll know when it happens.

Now go save the world!

Name: Rufus
Species: Ruffian
Gender: Male

Description (physical): Rufus is a rather average Ruffian. They stand at about 4.5 feet tall, with a long tail trailing behind them. They walk upright. Rufus is very white, his Ruffian skin and scales are very white. He has a small snout on his face, with jagged sharp teeth inside. He is very lanky and all of his limbs are a bite longer in ratio them a human's. His back and tail are covered in spines, like a porcupine. They are normally down, but when he is angry or scared they puff up for protection. His eyes are a proud red.

Description (psychological): Ruffians are scavengers and are usually very timid, and Rufus is no exception. They prefer to stay out of the way of things bigger then them. Ruffians eat just about anything, and as such Rufus is not picky and doesn't let things go to waste. He loves to optimize and learn new things. His timidness is a weakness of his, he has a hard time taking risks. Emotionally, he finds it difficult to be blunt with people, and his voice often quavers when he argues or yells, especially when directed at somebody who is bigger or stronger then him. Rufus's greatest psychological strength is his analytical mindset; due to years of being a student of the mystic arts. He is a glorious fanatic of The Bleeding God and proud of it, though he allows others to have their own beliefs. (This is because, in his world, every race has their own god. The god of a race would probably not welcome anyone not of their chosen race into their church or society, and as such each race keeps to their own religions and traditions.)

Skills: In Rufus's world, the species known as the Ruffians were once the lowest of the low, being scavengers and all. But after they discovered a god; The Bleeding God, they learned his secrets and gained some of his powers. The Ruffians created a secret group, called the Bleeding Circle, and began to teach each other these magical arts. This type of magic allows the user to manipulate blood and use it to various effects. The blood contains the "life-force" of any living thing, and this magic manipulates it. By creating symbols of blood on objects or areas, different effects can be achieved. There are many, many different symbols and things that can be done with the blood, but they require both time and materials (namely blood) to be used.
Secondly, he also has some basic first aid skills and knowledge of anatomy. Drawing blood from both himself and other organisms has taught him many lessons on first aid and health, though really only how it relates to blood.
+ Has skills in magical "Blood Symbols" that allow him to make various effects with the blood.
- Required both blood and time to draw the symbols; not useful in the middle of combat.

Another, but much more minor ability he has is the ability to drink blood as if it was water. He does not technically need to drink water to survive, he can just drink blood. However he is NOT a vampire and does not need blood to survive. Furthermore, he does not like drinking blood as it obviously wastes his spell-crafting material, and so picks water over blood whenever he can.

Equipment: Rufus luckily was carrying his tools of the trade, and was on the way to a Bleeding Circle meeting, before he was teleported to Interstice. He was carrying:
+ A Jar full of Goat's blood
+ A Jar full of Sheep's Blood
+ 2 Empty Jars
+ A sharp but small obsidian stone
+ An engraved silver dagger depicting The Bleeding God himself in all his glory
+ Dark Red robes
+ A small porcelain bowl; used to collect a small amount of blood before rituals and offered to The Bleeding God out of respect
+ Three handwritten books, each detailing a large amount of different symbols and rituals to both The Bleeding God and for Blood Magic. This is used for reference, as he cannot memorize every detail of the various circles and symbols.
+ A small brass lantern with a decent amount of oil left in it
+ Bag of 27 gold coins
+ One small family talisman; having spines from Rufus's ancestors along it. Has no magical powers or atypical properties. (Just an heirloom.)

Name: Cor
Species: Spirit of the Currents
Gender: Female

Description (physical): Cor looks just about how you would expect a female spirit who signifies the constant flow of the air and sea to look.

Somewhat tall woman with an odd, whiteish blue skin tone, with brighter white markings that seem to swirl around her body, sometimes even looking as if they go on beyond her. Her hair is also this brighter white, and is seemingly short and perfectly curling away at the tips. If one was to run their fingers down her hair from the top, they would find that a strand of her hair goes on for much longer than it seems like it should. She usually has a smile on her face, lips sometimes indistinguishable from the markings, and her eyes are as blue as the ocean. She rarely stays still.

Sometimes, it is said that she wears bitchin' sunglasses.

Description (psychological): Contrary to what her aloof and free alignment may have you believe, Cor is fully capable of performing her duties as a spirit, and does not just 'do whatever'. What she does is keep things moving forward and in place for the time that she deems fit. As such, she might be a bit bossy and demanding, but always for the purpose of progress and never for any selfish desires. She is formal, preferring to address others by their full title and with the intention of receiving the same. Though this makes her a bit hard to deal with, she is ultimately understanding and forgiving, as long as your intentions are not against her domain. If you try to mess with the currents and flow of the world for your own gain, there will be no safety.

Skills: Cor can control the currents and flow of the world around her. As a spirit, she exhibits a slight breeze when you pass her, a lingering feeling that flows through you and makes you feel a little better. She can float, something that she usually takes advantage of. She can create and ride waves wherever there is water and cause some changes in temperature and pressure.

Equipment: Cor has no worldly objects*, as she is a creature of Nature without the need for them.

*With the exception of her sunglasses of course.

Gender: Female
Description (physical):

Description (psychological): "Miss Sinclaire" as she calls herself, has quite the detrimental personality. Being abandoned as a child left her with lasting scars that have her seek the love of others to fill the void. This leads her to put on sparkling performances and flare up everything she does to attract the attention of everyone. Belle has a habit of trying to seduce any male she may be around, regardless of species, and will fiercely tear at any other girls approaching on one of her targets.
Skills: Belle possesses the finest qualities of her people and their industrious nature. She is quite the inventor, being able to take scraps of metal and turn them into devices of destruction. She also has an inate ability with explosives, beign able to sniff explosive substances from far away and disarm related traps. In addition, she is quite the shot with flintlock pistols and works well with grenades.
Equipment: When Miss Sinclare was tossed into the interspace, she had been trapped in a cave stripped of most of her inventions and materials, trapped in a cave full of angry dog fish people. She managed to locate a chest that probably contained her flintlocks, gunpowder, and stolen grenades, but it was at the other side of a lake. She was teleported mid-jump, and the chest, as well as some of the cave she was in, would be teleported with her.

Name: "Herbert the Magneficent" (real name: Salvio Divinorum)
Species: Psychic Plant.
Gender: Prefers "he"
Description (physical): Herbert is a leafy green plant, sitting in an ornate flowerpot. Its leaves have a glowing blue sheen to them during the night. Despite lacking anything resembling a real brain, Herbert's species is sentient and often capable of performing great feats of Healing and Telekinesis through sheer willpower. They are also able to see despite lacking optical organs. Their leaves are potent hallucinogens. The flowerpot is blue, with yellow stars painted on it.

Description (psychological): Herbert's species is a very good symbiote, and while he is fully aware of this, he doesn't exploit this -- well, not by too much. His prices seem reasonable, and he even donates half of it to charity, but under the facade you can see that he has problems with greed. For example, his prices would be reasonable if he actually had to buy medical supplies for his work, and the charity is almost always goes to the "Make Herbert Richer" Foundation, but these are just minor details that can be ignored in favour of quick, painless healing.

Perhaps he is afraid that he will be just a plant without valuables. One thing is sure, that he can be pretty desperate when he is cut off from his wealth, as he has once sold some of his own leaves on the black market.

Skills: Herbert can cure the people he touches. This usually applies to flesh wounds, foreign items embedded in the skin, and bacteria/virus/parasite based diseases. Herbert is poor at Telekinesis, but he can levitate his own pot. Mundane skills include being good at Distracting People and Gauging Prices.

Equipment: Being a plant he doesn't have much: an ornate flowerpot, a credit card, and a very fresh chunk of dragon flesh

Name: Shade
Species: Cave Lurker
Gender: Male
Description (physical): As Cave Lurkers are a newer species, scientists are still studying them. Shade has glowing Sapphires for eyes and a sharp white toothed grin plastered on his face. Always. He has purple, almost scale-like skin, that helps him hide in the darkness. He stands about 3 feet 4 inches, but has a slight slouch. Shade says that many of his kind have multiple arms, some being tentacles or claws, but Shade's are somewhat like human arms, ending in a hand with three fingers and an opposable thumb. There are also what appear to be gemstones imbedded into his back, along with various purple spikes.
Show Content

Description (psychological):
Shade is mischievous. While it is usually just messing with others, he can tend to push it too far, such as stealing a valuable for weeks upon end or causing someone emotional distress by making them look like a fool in front of the few people they trust. He likes to explore and find things. He can get pretty annoying because of his tendency to pester people into getting what he wants and sometimes just down right complaining. But despite this, if Shade trusts you, then you know he'll have your back. Although he is a bit creepy because of his constant laughter and chuckling.

Skills: Shade is good at hiding and finding things. In addition to being naturally dark colored, he can tint his skin a dark color, often black, so as to wait out his enemies. His eyes however, do not change color, so he has to go through extra care to hide them. He can also detect many kinds of metals and gems, as they are his main food source. He is not bad in a fight, but he prefers his perfected tactic on disabling the enemy, then crippling them by taking their equipment. Supposedly, Cave Lurkers can also control someone by getting them to stare at their eyes, but Shade refuses to say anything about it.
Equipment: Shade was in the middle of getting his butt kicked, but was teleported away, much to his relief. The things he managed to take from his opponents and the things he had with him:
-A pound of metals and gems
-An iron pickaxe
-One metal gauntlet
-An empty potato sack
-One piece of leather
-An unidentified piece of equipment
(He also had a finger, but threw it away on arrival)

Name: Angel
Species: Mundusian Persian cat (same as a normal Persian, except intelligent as any human and able to speak clearly)
Gender: Female

Description (physical): In her cat form, she looks like a normal Persian cat, like what you'd see on Earth, with soft white fur and gold eyes. Her human form, which she can switch in and out of at will, is that of a young girl with straight, platinum blond hair that goes well past her shoulders, wearing a pristine white dress, simple and elegant in its style, and she prefers to go without shoes.

Description (psychological): As her name and appearance might suggest, Angel is a rather pure-hearted cat. She's a very firm believer in the importance of helping others, and once she feels like she can trust you, she becomes an extraordinarily loyal companion. She prefers to avoid conflict whenever possible; if it comes down to a fight, she will usually try and talk it out first, insistently warning her opponent that fighting her would be most unwise.

The problem is that she can sometimes take the "side of good" thing a little too far. She prefers redemption over outright punishment, and will never kill someone if she believes there's hope for them. It should also be noted that she's no naive schoolgirl type; the things she's been through have begun to break her down, leaving her blindly clinging to her ideals to get her through life in a very cynical world. To her, evil isn't just morally wrong, it's downright poisonous.

So, basically, The Fettered, The Heart, and The Chick, with some Break the Cutie in her backstory.

Skills: Hailing from a world where magic is extraordinarily common and an integral part of daily life, Angel is a wielder of light, one of the strongest around. She can control light in the conventional sense to illuminate areas or blind enemies, as well as fire beams of bright white energy that are more solid and can knock people back or damage objects. Obviously, this is "super-effective" against users of dark energy, but does not necessarily negate said energy. Really, it's more of a stalemate unless one person has more powerful magic than the other.

Angel can also cast a powerful spell known as the "Trinity," which is where she unleashes a concentrated but somewhat long-lasting burst of light energy in a three-meter radius. It takes a long time to charge, and while she's charging it, she's completely helpless. If she gets attacked before the Trinity is ready, her concentration is broken, and she has to start all over again.

Equipment: Being a cat who fights with magic and/or her natural abilities, she doesn't exactly carry much. (And her human-form dress doesn't have any pockets.) She was hanging out in her room at the time, so she arrived with the bowl of cat chow she was eating out of and nothing else.

Sorry, I went a little overboard with the details. XP I can nerf her magical power if you think she's too strong, but keep in mind that her personality dictates she won't be using her magic to its full extent unless it's an absolute emergency.

Name: Yugrom Radesruceht
Species: Unknown (humanoid shape)
Gender: Male
Description (physical): Wears thick, dark gray heavy plate armor which covers his whole body. Nobody knows what does he look like without it.
Description (psychological): Yugrom woke up one day in a cave not remembering anything except his name. He found himself encased in some sort of armor, which was so heavy that he could barely move. As he tried to remove it, he found out that the armor was completely seamless. Trapped in the armor, he clumsily escaped the cave and sought help.
Centuries later, Yugrom is still on his quest to get rid of the armor. During his journey he has tried everything he could think of to break the armor, to no avail. He has tried to talk to world's best smiths, wizards and enchanters, but none of them could understand a word of what he said through his thick helmet with no holes (which he can still somehow see through).
Skills: The armor is almost inpenetrable by any force, be it physical or magical. Even if it does get, say, impaled by something, it will regenerate itself as soon as the object is pulled off. This, however, is also a weakness because he will still be wounded and there is no way he could heal himself. He can't move very quickly in it.
Equipment: The armor (see above). No weapons.

So I was reading signups and I really liked the Hydra that argues with itself idea.

Name: Agni, Kali, Indra
Species: Hydra
Gender: Male, Female, Male

Description (physical): The Hydra is a vicious creature with razor sharp fangs and forked tongues. It has three heads which rarely agree with each other, but when they do it is certainly a force to be reckoned with. It has 4 legs and is covered in blue scales, with a soft underbelly. It walks a bit like an aligator on dry land, but the Hydra does not have any physical prowess in the water, though it does have very stubby legs. Its scales are incredibly hard and act as armor, and the Hydra can regrow limbs over a few days. It's heads will double when cut off, and usually retain the personality of the head that it originates from, though burning of the heads requires several weeks to grow back. It usually walks in a zig-zag pattern, as the heads each have some form of autonomy over the body, causing it to respond to all of them at once when they want to go in different directions.

Description (psychological): Agni is very shy and gets embarrassed easily. He usually tries to run away, and does not like to fight. He likes making friends and tries to explore as much as he can. Kali is very brash and always ready to fight. She is the headstrong one, and enjoys taking charge. She is a big eater and constantly is on guard and pretends that she is always on the hunt. Indra is the voice of reason for the three. He enjoys studying things, and is the brains of the group. He is also more formal and is much easier to talk to of the three.

Skills: Each head can spit corrosive acid over several feet. They can each breath a different element a few yards, Agni fire, Kali ice, and Indra thunder. Besides the regrowth of limbs and the armored scales, they do not have many other skills.

Equipment: Each head has a special possession they keep around their neck on a lash. Agni has a bottle of silver liquid, which when spilled turns into an impenetrable 10 foot tall wall of pure silver. Kali has an amulet of Medusa, which when opened petrifies its opener, though without dexterous hands is a bit useless. Indra has a special amulet that shoots bubbles at things, occasionally large enough to encapsulate them.

Species: Arkangel
Gender: Male
Description (physical): Slightly larger than the average human, Mic'aehl stands at 6'5, with electronically implanted wings about half that height. Mic'aehl has short, platinum hair, and a cleanly shaven face. His eyes are standard for an Arkangel: Blue Irises, with a red ring around the pupil. He wears standard armor, with a silver and gold cape made of scales coming off his back. Carved into his breastplate are two symbols, One meaning "Defense," The other, "The Homeland."
Description (psychological): Overzealous, as a result of his homeland, as well as trying almost all the time to be the leader. He also relies heavily on his electronic equipment for protection, believing himself to be immortal at times. These traits almost always drag him into impossible battles, relying on dumb luck to survive. Almost as a direct result of surviving, his ego is boosted, sending him charging back in.
Skills: Coming from an almost Heavenly planet, Mic'aehl is used to moving around areas where very little land is available, while conserving energy in his wings. When coupled with his abilities to fight in these areas, Mic'aehl can battle effectively in both the air, land, and sea. He has also developed an uncanny ability to aim and fire almost supernaturally fast, but only when airborne.
Equipment: A Sepulcher, A mix of a a Simple Halberd, and a series of springs and coils, designed to launch the Head of the weapon at a foe. A chain links the blade to a small motor, allowing for it to be retrieved after firing.
Standard Armor, a series of Gold and Silver plates overlapping like scales across the back of an Arkangel, as a series of larger plates over the chest and legs. There are two two electronic generators on the back to power small wings, capable of lifting a person.

Hope that's all fine and dandy.

Name: Svedberg

Species: Nurse

Gender: The ratio of female Nurses to male Nurses is roughly 10:1. Svedberg is of the latter.

Description (physical):

Svedberg looks vaguely like a nurse you expect- in a fictional setting. What with the skintight bodysuit (a classy red), a killer body (with a nice posterior), and armor seemly designed for the most inappropriate purpose possible (guess), he is certainly someone sufficiently suited for a testosterone-charged video game with lots of guns. Speaking of guns, he does not technically have one. More of a bulky apparatus - so close enough. More on that later.

An biological construct, Svedberg has many unnatural structures on him - including a skin-flap of a backpack designed to accommodate an impressive amount of objects and an organically grafted helmet designed to look as a stereotypical nurse's headgear. He wears it because he is cautious - but mostly because for shame reasons; underneath that helmet is a mouth full of sharp and nasty teeth - a species-specific quality wide enough to bite any idiots looking too close.

Description (psychological):

Like the rest of his brethren, Svedberg is designed to care for others. However, it is not just the years of genetic tampering in utero and the supplementary conditioning to boot. There is an addition of his general personality and work ethics. He is willing to care for others. From spilled viscera to a mere scrape, no harm is too small for him. Nursing is serious business.

However, he is emotionally weak - meaning it does not take much to make him intensively happy, angry, sad, etc. I mean, it is no surprise considering he is a designer species for war thus socially incompetent but the army is full of monsters but even monsters have friends - especially if the camaraderie is forged through needlessly complicated guns and crushing puny heads between their thighs. Svedberg has a strong aversion to needless violence - plus there are not a lot of Nurses (male and female) around here.

So, he kind of gets lonely.

Skills:

Svedberg is a Nurse. As a Nurse, he has the clinical judgement to care for patients in a way that improves, maintains, and most importantly ensures recovery of patient health - such skills include diagnosis, prescription of medication, treatment plans, and so forth. As a Nurse, he also has needle-like claws, hooves strong enough to kick a bitch down, and of course, the trademark Nurse mouth. He also has a healing flamethrower.

Yeah, we would get to that in a second.

Svedberg generates a thin film of pseudoscientific aura that is collected and pressurized into the apparatus in which he holds in his hands. If sufficiently full, the apparatus can discharge a cone-shaped spray of red mist. The red mist stitches the wounds, set the bones, invigorates the body, and all-in-all a panacea to all that is harmful. However, it also sears the mind and intensifies the pain - starting from mere discomfort then gradually evolving into full blown agony - eventually combusting into live (ha ha) flames

- only if the exposure is long enough of course.

Equipment:

Before he was whisked away, Svedberg was a bit busy crying in the locker room. Other than his apparatus, a couple of first-aid kits, and a gradually moistening towel, he is not carrying much because he is too busy drowning in feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeliiiiiiiiiinngs. God, what a wimp.

Okay I'm finally finished with the longest sheet here I AM SORRY. Inventor Mage Lady here we goooo?

Name: Eidell (Ee-Dell)
Species: Boring Human
Gender: Female
Description (physical):
Show Content
Eidell is young lady 22 years of age and at an average height (5 ft, 4 inches), she has faded blonde hair (This Colour) and her eye colour is unknown. At most times she hides her face with a glass face mask and another cloth mask that covers her mouth, nose and neck, she will take off the cloth mask at times to talk and eat but almost never takes off the face guard. More notable features of course would be the various tubes protruding out of her neck and shoulder, making their way to the iron canister on her back and her weapon. She also rarely takes off the canister off her back as not only is it painful but it is important to her survival. Her clothes are an elegant red shirt with frills and laced with runes, toughened pants made of durable cloth and high-class shoes reinforced with leather straps.
Description (psychological): Eidell is not very sociable, nor is she very out going in the first place. She constantly thinking and humming her mind away, often a trouble to have a straight conversation with and doesn't work well with others, it doesn't help that she talks softly and her voice easily muffled by her cloth mask. That aside however, Eidell is a prodigy, her mind works in a rapid fashion much more powerfully than the standard human and has a natural knack for creating crazy devices, she is even comfortable and easier to approach in her workshop. She never had the strength to swing a sword or pull back a bowstring (not that she would want to) and neither could she cast a spell without blowing herself up thanks to her damaged magical aura, but when her brilliance and her expensive inventions caught the eyes of a power-hungry noble, Eidell was forced to make herself a strange weapon and defend herself, running away to wherever was safe. Now she is whisked away to a strange new realm, she has escaped bandits and the soldiers after her head, but somehow she feels that she might not be any safer here...
Skills:
Out of whack- Not really a skill, more of a handicap. Eidell's affinity is damaged due to a magical injury, she produces mana at a very slow rate cannot cast magic by hand without harming herself in the process and magical damage affecting her is a bit more severe. However, this is not a total drawback, occasionally her internal mana will leak into the air, invisible and entirely useless to Eidell, but others skilled in magical affinity might be able to latch onto it and use it.
Prodigy- Eidell is naturally smart. Plus, occasionally she will note something of use to a situation or figure out how to deal with various enemies.
Engineer- Eidell is good at mechanics and the creation of crazy things. Also good at spotting weak spots in mechanical and structure-like monsters.
Rifleman- Eidell is decent at guns and ranged combat. Not the best, but decent.
Equipment:
Glass Mask- A mask made of flexible and hardened glass, hard to see into but easy to see out of, good for seeing through smoke and the sorts. Blunt trauma just bounces off it.
Cloth Mask- A loop of cloth that goes over the head, covers the neck and mouth. Useful for areas with less than healthy oxygen in the air.
Magic Cannon- Eidell's own invention. A strange device with multiple settings and knobs, it is powered by mana and shoots spells much, much more powerfully than by hand and is a good focus for channeling spells. It is linked to to the Mana Canister by a toughened tube stronger than the other tubes. Eidell can obviously casts spells with this crazy device without harming herself.
Mana Canister- Linked to her body by the shoulder and neck, the Magic Cannon and the Magic Bracelet. A large canister made of iron and hoisted over her back, very hard to damage. With this, Eidell can store a very, very large amount of mana inside it, the mana her body produces flows from the tubes into the canister to be used by the Magic Cannon. Mana potions and the sort directly supply the canister. However, because the Mana is in a very raw state, the right enemies will be able to steal or sap it more easily. Very heavy for Eidell, hard to run around with.
Magic Bracelet- A basic, ugly looking iron bracelet with a gem inset, when Eidell is harmed by magical damage the jewel increases Eidell's mana supply. Also effective armor.
Red Dress of Warding- A fancy shirt that is runed with magical wards, it defends the wearer from magical damage a fair bit and is hard to damage itself.
Tough Pants- Pants. Does not tear without an impressive amount of force.
Well Worn Shoes- Comfortable, with a good grip. A little worn.
Tin of peaches and some loafs of spiced bread- Standard food, should last a while before going off. Eidell dislikes spiced bread however, and the tin is a little hard to open without something sharp.

Backstory: (this wasn't an option so I hope it's okay, especially since the character doesn't make much sense without it) Afreal was one of the unfortunate souls that was cast directly into hell when he died. He was made to live with a new body, one that looked exactly like his old one, but designed for torture. The body doesn't scar as much and it slowly regenerates no matter how destroyed it gets, thus Afreals body was immortal, so as to live an eternity of suffering in the pits of hell. Afreal has lived through every torture imaginable with no rest in between. He's encountered every fear, felt every pain, lost everything over and over again, to the point when the suffering has become mundane and boring. Afreal no longer screams as his eyeballs are roased and his spine ripped out, he never runs or fights. There is no hope, no happiness, only hatred, fear and pain.
Description (physical): Afreal is a large man, standing almost 2 meters tall and slightly more muscular than would otherwise be physically possible for a human. His entire body is riddled with scars along with a few fresh wounds in places. Afreals eyes are large and lidless, projecting the horrors that he's gone through over his thousands of years of agony. Afreal is naked, the damned do not wear clothes.
Description (phsyocological): During Afreals long stay in hell he has gone through the minds of many people. People that fear different things or feel pain differently, as such his own personality has gotten lost on the way. He will often stare blankly into space as a memory suddenly appears in his head or suddenly change the tone of his voice as he suddenly believes he's someone else. At times Afreal will cringe or howl as his mind tries to make sense of everything. Afreal talks in a deep raspy voice. Because of the countless years Afreal has lived he's actually quite intelligent, but this only shows when he's able to pull his mind together, otherwise he hardly even speaks coherently. Afreal is completely fearless, seeing as he's always faced something worse than what he might be put up against, his biggest fears come from inside his own mind, this is also his greatest weakness.
Skills:
Muscular: Afreals big muscles are not just for show, he's propably stronger than most humans back in his old world, being able to lift almost three times his own body weight over his head.
Fearless: No amount of terror will bend Afreals will, only his inner terrors have any effect on his psyche.
Numb: Pain is uninteresting to Afreal, no amount of pain will execute more than a shrug from him. The result is that Afreal completely ignores any wound he's taken regardless of its effect on his health. It's not uncommon that he simply passes out from bloodloss.
Regeneration: Though Afreal only regenerates slightly faster than the average human, he can regenerate from anything. An arm cut off simply grows back or reattach itself a broken skull will thatch itself together, he regenerates his nerves and brain extremely fast.
Experience: Afreal has lived thousands of lives and can call upon years of experience to get him through any situation.
Equipment: Afreal has no possesions, but for a belt made from the bones of long lost friends and aquaintances in hell.

Name: Jay
Species: Shii (sounds like "she", a sort of Shadow-like thing, still can get hurt though.)
Gender: Male

Description (physical):
Show Content

Description (psychological): An extremely shy and quiet character, but kind-hearted in nature. He's usually alone, due to lack of how to approach people. He has little to no social experience, and often just messes up in what he's trying to say. He doesn't believe in himself that much though, causing him to be more of a follower than a leader, because he thinks that if he takes orders then there's a less likely chance he'll mess up. Easily gets flustered and embarrassed, usually flies away instead of facing the problem head on when he does something wrong.

Skills: Can take a quick peek through walls (Shadows help with that =p), can scout large areas fairly well, can escape QUICKLY and ALMOST DEFINITELY, no sound is made when moving.

Equipment: Nothing really.

So it's just under five days, five hours. Close enough. If you're planning on submitting a character, don't hesitate too long.
