Untitled Adventure Game [update 10/28/19] - cosmonstars - 10-26-2019

The universe spans many worlds and many times, and the flow of its stories are never straight. The worlds we look at today are connected, if only by a thread of twisted space.
First, steep mountains slice the air high above the sea. Beneath the frost line, homes and structures cover every inch of ground. The ground is a useless thing to these people, for they live their lives in the skies.
Second, an abandoned kingdom rests under four hundred years of ice. Its people sought things beyond their grasp--the realm of the living and dead, the source of magic, and places forgotten. They are gone now, with only a lorechaser to pick at their bones.
Lastly, we find a place caught between time. Those without a compass are left to wander for eternity. The peregrines here flock together, but that does not make their journey safe. Their path is littered with their fallen. The flight to find a safe roost is an endless one, but one they cannot turn from.
These three beginnings only lead to one story. Which realm shall we explore?

The blizzard rages around you, your coat barely blocking the bitter winds and ice. You lift your lantern, the crystal inside it gleaming as it grows closer to its source, and the door ahead of you opens even wider. Blue lines stretch from the entrance like water pouring into a channel. Patterns of life and machinery alike emerge, but it still pales in comparison to the light of the entrance. The entrance mesmerizes you, with the hint of music and promise of warmth pulling you forward. Beside you, your companion growls, and you snap out of your trance. Listening closer, you hear a whisper--quiet, close, and something that should not carry on the wind.
