You lazily taste the air, the sleep slowly beginning to leave your body. There is dew and warmth in the air, and the flowers begin to bloom.

Your dream was indistinct, but you were not alone. You were sharing all of your favorite things. Your favorite hiding places, your favorite favorite sunning spots. Your favorite sights and sounds. Your favorite pond beneath the tree that grows your favorite fruit. And the feeling that has been growing in you didn't feel so bad.

Until you woke from that dream.

And found yourself alone again...

A thought strikes you that perhaps all you need is a little persistence. Perhaps, to find friends, you must simply overcome the fear in yourself and others. But the big thing keeps moving at a speed you could never hope to match, seeming to take no notice of you or anything else moving through the grass in its wake. And all the little things still flee from you, no matter how far you follow them. You suppose you can't really blame them.

After all, there's some things so scary to you that you never want to catch their attention...

You put that thought from your head. Such a thing is no good when you already feel like this.

Perhaps sunning yourself on this nice spot will help. It does nothing to lighten your mood, but perhaps you shall think of some ideas with a little more warmth in you.

You are stricken to hear such a captivating sound, so unlike anything you have heard before! In your amazement, you try to copy it...

...though find this rather difficult. Well! You simply must find where it's coming from. You follow the sound as it rings out intermittently, clear and soft through the trees.
