A company - Midnight - 09-18-2018 You work for A Company. >Power up You turn on your computer This usually takes about 2-3 minutes because almost everyone is on their computer here and this place has shit wifi. Ah. There you go. Up in the top right is your work space. Here you will receive emails, do work, earn money and more boring work jobs. Of course, not all emails will be boring and such. Underneath that is the potato net. There you can do whatever your heart desires, so long as your boss doesn't catch you! At some point, you can upgrade your computer system so you can swivel around in your chair and take a look for the big man himself. Too bad your broke as crap and you barely get any pay. Then there's this game on your computer that you've never understood. just walk. It's been there since the start and there is no application and the 'close window' button doesn't work, neither does 'minimize'. So you just leave it there anyway. RE: A company - Midnight - 09-18-2018 >Company: Be closely related to the production and/or distribution of luxury cream-filled chocolates. Your company reprocesses dead bodies from the wastelands below- but also does a damn good chocolate business on the side. The people down below pay to be reprocessed and alive again, yet they get some luxury, cream-filled chocolates on the side. When the chocolates were first introduced, some of the bodies were actually turned into cream-filled chocolates... it was a bit of a nightmare to sort out, but the science department got it all worked out in the end...thankfully. under your computer's table is a chocolate-making machine as well as a sendifyer. The Machine is pretty self-explanatory, you push the right buttons and in 5 minutes you'll complete a chocolate order. Then, you send the chocolates to the location's coordinates using the sender. It's simple enough when you think about it. Just don't send any with some lactose intolerant bodies and you should be fine! RE: A company - Reecer6 - 09-18-2018 >oh dang you've got a job, look at that as fast as possible or you'll never get a raise RE: A company - Midnight - 09-18-2018 >oh dang you've got a job, look at that as fast as possible or you'll never get a raise Ugh. Dave. You forgot that you were on the level with those illiterate asshats. Yes, they're all called Dave and no, you don't hate them for no reason. They're like the lackys of A Company. Even if you're not called Dave you're labelled as a Dave until you can actually get a decent promotion. God, you can't wait to get your promotion. When that day comes, you can have a person who'll send you jobs who isn't illiterate. You'll have your own room to work in, and not have to be in a loud cubical. Even your boss won't check on you as much. You can't wait. You've got them pre-fired in your mind for when and if you become boss. Anyway... You punch in the co-ords. Good thing this is the only job you have right now. When you get flooded at mid-afternoon or multiple at once, you'll have to select who you want to send off and where they're going. God what a pain. You can't wait to get out your cubical. RE: A company - Ten11 - 09-18-2018 >Can you send emails as well as receive them? Congratulate a fellow employee on their recent birthday/wedding/promotion/etc. RE: A company - Midnight - 05-13-2019 >Can you send emails as well as receive them? Congratulate a fellow employee on their recent birthday/wedding/promotion/etc. Nothing really good ever happens to the employees here as they work 11 hours a day. Sometimes you'll get to talk to people. You'd love to congratulate your friend Jack on getting a promotion but you can't even talk to him unless he talks to you first. That's the rule when you're at the bottom. RE: A company - Numbers - 05-14-2019 check jobs, and maybe [JUST WALK] a tad. RE: A company - Midnight - 05-15-2019 >check jobs, and maybe [JUST WALK] a tad. First of all you check out what the hell this 'Just Walk' thing is. You give it two clicks and a step meter goes up. Huh. Maybe it's just some game you can play when you have no jobs to do. But for now, you have jobs to get to! So you open up Work Space.
Ugh. You hate it when people send more than one job in one Work Space post. Those kinds of people are the worst. Looks like some odd people though. Huh.
Alright, 4 jobs on the go does not seem that difficult. It's a good thing you can cook up to 5 of the same chocolate at once. It's also a good thing that you also aren't as incompetent as everyone else down on the Dave level.
So, what are you cooking first? RE: A company - CherryPetrichor - 05-15-2019 >Make 7 Caramella Bronchurs first RE: A company - Numbers - 05-16-2019 >do fred costar first, then 10 caramella bonchurs: 10 because who knows, other people might want some as surplus is always good RE: A company - Dis_Aster - 05-17-2019 Yeah, that sounds pretty solid. Also, I'm kinda against making a surplus of bonchurs, if only to avoid something dumb like us having to send them to someone before the day's over, or it comes out of our pay or something equally obnoxious, but... Eh. Either way: >Do jobs, get some more walking in while you wait for the chocolates to be made |
