[MOD CREATER 9000] - Documentation - bo - 08-01-2018 from time to time, there may be huge timeframes with no updates since this is mostly a side project for fun. suggestions are considered to be messages in a stream chat and the player will actually be able to see them __________________________________________________________ So, this thing has been floating around the community lately, and what it is meant to do is apparently create mods in real time. But that is not exactly a correct explanation. The mod does some really weird shit to your game and your computer, so if you want to try it out, I reccomend using a virtual machine. The installation process is really tedious, so if you do want to get into it, I reccomend looking into it yourself. I'm using a graphics mod due to the game being near unplayable due to lag with the normal graphics, for some reason. And also, sskps. So, best thing to do is go straight to New Game. The game has already started and is in autoplay with no crew. If the ship lands on the planet, the game instantly crashes. So, check it out, takes you directly to the character creator. No ships, no AIs, no nothing. Notice how there's no traits? There actually are no traits. You can't enter any traits. So, here, you restart the game in a certain way, which is why you need sskps. Now, you see those? The character doesn't actually have any traits right now, but those phantom traits that you see right there will have their effect on the character. Why does this happen? I don't know. Even the blank blue trait will have an effect, which is never meant to happen. The traits that are stacked on top of eachother are actually stacked, like, their effects are stacked on top of eachother, which doesn't actually make much sense, but they are, in a way. Now, we randomly generate the character as to not waste time. So, first of all, all of the traits that are on top of the previous phantom traits are nullified. This is where all of the species are completely unloaded, which is why the species is null. If the species is null, it's an Aftik. Since that's an Aftik, the game is going to try to get the last seen Aftik in the game and put it on here. There is no last seen Aftik, because the autopilot game in the background does not actually load any graphics. Also, that's the planet choice, so what you do here is spam the enter key and hope that the planet landing animation is long enough for the game to load what it needs. There's only one character. So, because of the planet count not being specified, it is instantly 0, which means that we are on fortuna. RE: [MOD CREATER 9000] - Documentation - CDJ8 - 08-01-2018 this is some next-level glitching RE: [MOD CREATER 9000] - Documentation - Gimeurcookie - 08-01-2018 Is your video game ok? Does it like, need water or something? What are you going to do now that Fortuna is there? Are you able to do something to land on it or are you just going to flip the lack of a ship away from it or something. RE: [MOD CREATER 9000] - Documentation - Numbers - 08-02-2018 Is this like one of those game corruptors? RE: [MOD CREATER 9000] - Documentation - Ten11 - 08-02-2018 well this is one way to speedrun how does the actual mod creation part work? are you ding that right now? RE: [MOD CREATER 9000] - Documentation - Numbers - 08-13-2018 Also, what are the names of the stacked traits? Not that they really matter that much. RE: [MOD CREATER 9000] - Documentation - AquaTheYoshi - 11-03-2018 Maybe you didn't install the mod correctly and that's why it's acting so weird. |
