i managed to slice myself on the thumb while digging through old computer cases, and it has proven a very inconvenient injury
the cut keeps opening up from hitting my thumb on things, and bandaids keep falling off due to regular thumb flexing
does anyone here proficient in white magic? im running out of bandaids

It sounds like you might want a band-aid that's specifically designed for fingers.
Alternatively, freeze your thumb so you stop flexing it.

i found a bandaid that basically immobilizes my thumb, but now the thumb is restless
